Dandelion Sun is my WIP comic series! Each episode is one day of the year. Yep, 365 episodes total! That doesn't even include multi-part days for special events :D
The plot follows six teenage best friends as they navigate the troubles of growing up. Their hometown, Halboro, is a tiny place on the Queensland-New South Wales border (Australian bush/outback). Although the droughts are heavy and the air is still, there is always something happening. From starting high school to family conflicts, fight circles to romantic pining, the year 1994 has a lot in store. Growing is never easy, but staying in the same place is harder.
Although the protagonists are all thirteen years old, this story is intended for audiences aged 15+. There are many, many heavy themes covered. For example, there are topics about death, mental and phsyical health, drugs, and abuse. Also, beware of typical teenage swearing and sex jokes. There is no explicit sexual content, though.
