The 2025/2026 Gravity Falls Hunkles Calendar (print version) is now available for pre-order on Etsy!
We're at the half-way point for the pre-order period, but I have not sold half the amount of calendars needed to put them into production. Make sure you pre-order now to ensure this calendar gets printed!
If you'd like to help us spread the word, reblog this post! Or share this post over on Twitter!
Full info under the cut!
Additionally, digital versions of the previous calendars (2022, 2019, and 2017) and the Wayfaring Strangers art book are also for sale during (and after) the pre-order period. The old digital calendars will be $5, and Wayfaring Strangers will be $10.
The 2025/2026 Gravity Falls Hunkles Calendar features art from 21 amazing artists and is priced at $30 USD. The calendars will be 12”x 12" and saddle-stitched with a hole for hanging.
This is a limited print run of 350 calendars, so when they’ve sold out, I will not be printing any more! Pre-orders will be available for 2 weeks, and if I somehow sell 350 calendars in that time, There’s a chance I will print more copies.
2025's "Fully Clothed Old Men: Back in Style" is a slight derivation from our previous years. More of a silly pin-up-ish calendar, this year mainly features a young Stan in all his mullet-sporting glory, but there ARE 4 months where we've given young Ford a spotlight.
2026's "Fully Clothed Old Men: The Final Layer" features senior Grunkles enjoying some more mundane adventures, like baking, doing laundry, or just chilling in front of the TV.
Both calendars feature art and holidays based on Gravity Falls (and Gravity Falls adjacent things), standard US holidays, key religious holidays, and a select number of international holidays.
You should find that the Etsy shop will automatically figure out shipping costs for you, once you put in your address. Please, please make sure you enter your complete address correctly!
lol jk but seriously, guys, Hope Brooklyn and I decided that our challenge needed a little ✨spice✨ so we changed things up! Some generations are the same, some are completely different, and some just have a few small changes. The biggest one you'll notice is we changed Gen 3 from Lemon to Grapefruit and completely changed that entire generation and we're much more excited about this one than we were about the other lol. We FINALLY finished our occults portion of this challenge and wanted to release this beforehand for all of you! We are going to keep the other rules up (you can find them here) so if you like that version better you can play that one instead! Either way we hope you have fun playing our challenge and we can't wait to see your sims through #fruitylegacychallenge!

Hope is going to be doing a play through of the new rules over on her instagram, and I'll be posting updates here on tumblr. I'll also be posting updates on my second instagram account occasionally!
She’s technically a monster too. She might not look it at first glance and seems mostly human, but it isn’t deniable even despite her looks compared to the other monsters.
But she realizes that she is still not like the rest of the monsters either and may not have entirely the same experiences as them, which is why she feels that she might not belong to or deserve to go to the support group. By sometimes passing as human, she feels she isn’t worthy of the space.
The sad reality though is even though she’s mostly human in appearance, that tail she has undeniably would still cause her some struggle. Humans are still gonna look at that tail and think she’s a freak. There are probably still accommodations she needs because of the tail that she may still struggle to have access to. Even if it is just the tail, that tail is still enough to other her from humans and cause her problems and discrimination.
She should get to belong in that support group even if she gets told she’s not monster “enough”. She still shares some of the same struggles as them that are caused by being a monster, and needs support.
This is an excellent demonstration of the flaws in the concept of passing privilege. Bravo to the artist.
International students in the US: If your college/university has canceled in-person classes due to COVID-19, DO NOT LEAVE THE COUNTRY. Your SEVIS record may be terminated, and you may lose your visa.
This was an email sent out to students, not in my college, but in one of our neighbors in the consortium. I’m still waiting to officially hear from my school, but I spoke to our Dean of International Students yesterday and they said something to the effect of online classes not being considered “full-time study,” which is required to maintain F-1 status. They’re looking into making an exception for COVID-19, but it’s still lost in a tangle of bureaucratic bullshit.
I will update this post as soon as I have any more information. Please stay safe, look after yourselves, and know that you are not alone 💜
Shark skin feels exactly like sandpaper. It is made up of tiny teeth-like structures called placoid scales, also known as dermal denticles. These scales point towards the tail and help to reduce friction from surrounding water when the shark swims. … In the opposite direction, it feels very rough like sandpaper.
This is really quite a big deal. A tremendous amount of modern research ends up being sold to journals which require unreasonable payments to access it and only pay the original authors a pittance. It’s nice to see an agency like NASA deliberately widebanding its findings.
Not sure if people fully realize just how big of a deal this is. THIS is how science is advanced. Not through biased corporate research, business secrets, marketing, paywalls and patent wars. But through open, uncensored and unrestricted public access to knowledge.
