Grace has been told to study a 'radioactive spider' by Stratt. he's not sure why he was the first choice, but he's not complaining - since the spider has levels of radioactivity that should have killed it
as much as i like the idea of Rocky BEING the spider (because come on) but that means he'd either get squashed or the bite itself kills him so
also Rocky would 100% be the best-friend-who's-absolutely-normal-about-this coworker
Grace would still be a middle school teacher, with Rocky being his best friend + coworker
then there's Adrian who Rocky has a big fat crush on and Grace is third wheeling HARD (he doesn't mind he gets to watch Rocky fumble)
AND THEN SIMON BEING THE SYMBIOTE.
this one is FUN
okay so Simon would be an ex-felon or ex-convict who's just gotten off parole
to keep it fun, he WAS still raised in a cult (much against his will) and said cult's practices resulted in the 'unintentional' murders of multiple people
and of course, Simon was blamed for all of them
his left arm and the left side of his face would be all scared over after uhh... some sort of ritual he was forced to attend

BUT THE PART I'M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT
ELLIE (THE EEL) BEING THE SYMBIOTE.
AND INSTEAD OF HER BEING BLACK SHE'S BLOODY RED.
like come ON how could she NOT be the symbiote ????
design-wise i don't think it would need to stray far from Venom's design since he already looks somewhat eel-like
but she'd probably have like a longer snout
so she looks more eel
and the rest i uh
honestly don't have any clue on but that's what you all are for >:]
grace and rocky get to erid and both of them are hitting every eridian squarely in the uncanny valley because they've both absorbed so much of each other that they feel both too eridian and not eridian enogh. rocky faces in the direction he's paying attention to and it feels like he's trying to hide something, the way he and only he of the eridians seems to always be showing the same face of his carapace when he speaks to somebody. he speaks in metaphors that only make sense to somebody who understands light-based vision. his intonations are funny, rising on questions when they otherwise wouldn't, falling flat, his sarcasm goes to space dry and restrained and comes back with such force it almost feels like he's lying instead of joking sometimes.
and grace who is so alien, but reflects eridian mannerisms that they've never considered strange before but coming from a creature so soft and strange, it just doesn't feel right. grace who stomps his foot twice when he asks a question, and it rings out flat and dull instead of the strong, sharp sound of an eridian hand on the ground. grace whose voice is so alien, so one-note, so full of articulations that are sharp and round and everywhere in between, but who echoes the melodies of eridian poetry and music, sometimes on accident but sometimes perfectly in time with what rocky translates him as saying, and later, perfectly in time with his keyboard.
rocky and grace who mirror each other more similarly than they mirror their own cultures. who speak to each other in a strange pidgin eridian that nobody else quite understands fluently. who share jokes from movie and tv shows from earth filtered through eridian folktales, plays, and musicals until they only make sense to the two people who know both cultures. they're not strange to each other, but it puts other eridians on edge. even adrian, at first. they've changed each other, you see.
This was supposed to be 'Kieran as a history teacher' doodles, but it's actually 'Kieran gets an Ogerpon cardigan for his birthday' doodles and how the cardigan came to be.
A lot of this hinges on my headcanon that Lacey made her own cardigan that she wears (the cute pink one). So eventually, Finn (my mc oc) comes to her with a gift idea, and they make it happen. Oughh I just love thinking about him coming to class in his little cardigan, teaching about all these historic pokemon while looking so damn fluffy *crushes him*. His students do not take him seriously at first, but it works out eventually (might draw more for this)
Did they have to edit the whimsy and sparkle out of jiseoks eyes in the lost and found music video like they use cgi to make dogs stop wagging their tail in movies
