This couple is awesome! The amount of times we laughed really made my day! Aren’t they lovely together? It just goes to show the love story between these two based on the images I created. I look forward to their wedding day this fall season. It will be a beautiful time of the year. I pray that leaves will stay on the trees to bring in those great fall colors.

This engagement session had a fun and exciting business feel to it. A nice mix of headshots, love, storytelling, and a corporate style to it. I’d like to make a note that I did share some doubles, featuring samples in color vs. black and white(grayscale). Some folks are a fan of color, and some just enjoy black and white, or both! It’s all in your taste, and sometimes it adjusts the mood of the photograph, whether it enhances drama, “in the moment”, or it just cleans it up.

A few weeks ago we did this shoot, and I have to say that Kelly is a rock star! She is highly committed to her business and becoming a newlywed to Jason. Congratulations to Kelly and Jason once again, because they are an excellent couple! They just got married on August 6th, so wish them the best and a God-blessed marriage! My friend’s Kat and Jacob Ritenour photographed Jason and Kelly’s wedding, and they did a beautiful job as always! They to are a story that should be of encouragement to every business owner in the world today.

Kelly’s personality is spontaneous at one moment, and then she can be ready for game time the next moment. We all have our struggles in order to maintain a decent healthy lifestyle. Whether it’s eating healthy and being active in the hustle and bustle of today’s world. Kelly has overcome these obstacles and you can to! We are all human so sometimes we can slip and throw ourselves out of a routine, because that’s just life! Thank you Kelly for another great session!

Introducing Caitlyn Schultz! She’s a graduate with the Class of 2016 at Mercyhurst Preparatory School in Erie, Pennsylvania. Cait was a member of the MPS Varsity Girls Tennis Team during her years at the school. She loves the sport and will continue on playing tennis recreationally.

She is currently a tennis instructor this summer, before starting off at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. She will be majoring in Fashion Marketing and minoring in Photography.

Two of my favorite things that I’m going to talk about briefly are food and drinks. I like to drink, but I know my limits. I do recall this horrible thing called a hangover. I will never want to experience that again if I don’t have to. I rather wake up in the morning fresh and ready to conquer the day. One way to freshen up your day is going to Sunset Grill! They offer a nice mix of great food and drinks at a price that is well worth it. One of the benefits is eating and drinking by the water, or enjoying the moment of a nice sunset during the appropriate hours and days. I will post in the future some amazing shots I photographed during one of the evenings that I was there. Food in general is great. It keeps us going and it makes us happy. This business will make you happy! Photography makes me happy, so putting food and photography together equals success! I’m growing in the food photography industry, and I’m very thankful that I get to experience Sunset Grill as one of my first food photography clients. They are located in Edinboro, Pennsylvania not far south from Erie, Pennsylvania. It’s a decent size place with a great atmosphere. I highly recommend you taking your family and friends there, even if you’re just passing through town during their open season.

My wife Amber and I took a trip up to New York to photograph Jordan’s senior portraits. It was a blast! We really enjoyed ourselves that weekend, and are appreciative for the opportunity. Jordan is a graduate with the Class of 2016 at Binghamton High School in Binghamton, New York. He played on the lacrosse team through high school and enjoys it still to this day. Lets not forget the family dog, Sweetie, another one of his favorites in life.

Starting a business isn’t easy. It takes a lot of hard work and discipline much like keeping your body fit and healthy. Kelly and I go way back to our college days at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College in Erie, Pennsylvania, where we were part of a running club that I started in college, and we have been friends since. Time goes by, and to find out that Kelly started her own business, Kelly’s Wellness Coaching. I was like, what?! Yeah, I was super excited to learn of this, and felt honored to know that I inspired her from my marathon running days. Life happened, and here I am today getting her help, and learning by her knowledge and experience to improve my health. She has recently signed on with my photography business, and I’m truly honored. So we started the first of many photo sessions for the next year, and this one really presents Kelly in manner that is welcoming. Her personality is vibrant, and she takes her time to work with you. Thank you Kelly for your help so far!

Now featured on Expedia.com and Hotels.com, including all of their partner sites. These cabins are well built by local Amish folks near Edinboro, Pennsylvania. They are warm and cozy providing you with that relaxation you need on a vacation. I never photographed a cabin interior before, and for this being my first I’m very excited about it. I kept the kelvin temperature pretty warm with the white balance. A few shots in the center section were debatable if I should have kept the temperature at that level or not. You be the judge. I do recommend the Edinboro Lake Resort Cabins in Edinboro, Pennsylvania, along with other amenities they offer! Feel free to visit their website: http://www.edinborolakeresort.com. Hi everyone! Say hello to Lydia! She’s a graduate with the Class of 2016 at General McLane High School in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. It’s crazy for me to say that, because just 10 years ago I graduated from high school, and my 10 year reunion is coming up next month! Where did the time go?! So just a few days prior to 4th of July, we went out to Six Mile Cellars in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania to do a session. A special thanks to Bart Towell for allowing us to use your property for this session. The winery opened in May 2012, and I’m glad to see how much it has grown since that year of opening.

A great opportunity we had by conducting a photo session on the Edinboro University enclosed walking bridge in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. It set the tone just right for Kortney. She’s an alumnus at Gannon University and now works at Erie Insurance. She enjoys working out to maintain decent health and preparedness for boxing. Although she enjoys the sport, she doesn’t have any current plans to make a career out of it.

We did part of this session at the Skybridge that connects the Erie Bayfront Convention Center and the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel in Erie, Pennsylvania. Later, we went on over to Radius CoWork, which they were very gracious to let us use some of their space for the remaining part of the session. These shots really portrayed Grace with her excellence to a healthy lifestyle. Her focus has always been running, which evolved her in becoming an athlete at a collegiate level with cross country.
