I know you're not saying this but there is nothing wrong with being an ambitious, àttention-seeking whore. A lot of us want to be at the top of the OC tree.

If that's what you really want, fine. But if you're a writer who loves writing OCs and you lose sight of that for whatever reason, it's not healthy, is it?

If somebody reaches out, I will try to help if I can. However, at the end of the day, I'm not your mother. Only you can work out what is best for you and you seem to have it pinned down which is great, so go for it.

Reading this ask struck a chord with me because I really felt similarly in my early days of Tumblr.

It's natural to want engagement and attention for your OCs, and I think that can be a goal without trying to be at the "top of the OC tree" because the thing is....there is no top. People's interests change too much. Fandoms are fluid and someone new will come along with fresh ideas. You may be so focused on staying on top, you don't get to write.

Look, Tumblr's a fickle place. There's a reason there are no Tumblr influencers unlike all of the other social media platforms out there. There is no way to game the system. There is no way to make it to the top except for engaging with other people's OCs, reaching out to make friends, writing + releasing consistently, and being very lucky.

Facts

Misaki, Mitsou and her mother moved away after her father's death. (Uchiha massacre)

Her hyuga side is stronger and more trained, she doesn't really bother with her Uchiha side.

The main reason she gets so snappy and sarcastic is to hide that she has a soft side, she knows how mean and harsh people can be.

When she learns she has a crush on Kiba, she refuses to accept her feelings and continues to be competitive with him.

Not really bothered with how she looks, she never was. She doesn't care if people think she'll gain weight because she's eating to much. It's her body and people should leave her alone.

She moves back a year after the chunin exams, it took her a while to convince her mom. She is beyond happy because she genuinely loves it there and the people.
