Before he was at Hogwarts he was in music, mostly because music was the only thing to really make him feel peace, and it helped with anxiety. Music was also how Dante continued to cope through Hogwarts. The words of others were weighing heavy on him as his fingers pressed and played against the strings and his bow. It was an outlet, and as the tune rang through the classroom Dante hummed along with it.

Teddy was – somewhat taken aback at Dante’s words, tilting his head. “Uhm – th-thank you?” It wasn’t often he got called beautiful by pupils, and… well, surprised was one word to use.
“Yeah, uhm, I’ll leave now.”

Teddy chuckled at Dante’s attempt to not insult him, shaking his head. “No, no – I know I’m not cool, it’s fine. I’m… pretty aware of that. You can say it. I get it from my brother anyway.”
“I mean at least you’re beautiful. I mean. Nope. Nope, hum, shite Uhm enjoy your tea Professor Lupin..”

“Forget it, you’re all so stubborn about being the token one out that you can’t even see what you do to anyone else.”

In all honesty, Evie didn’t know Dante, he was one of the guys who kept more to themselves but that wasn’t going to stop her from saying whatever she wanted to him. She wasn’t the type of girl who’d let him say whatever he wanted to her then get away with it. “Oh really?” she frowned shaking her head. “It was because you decided be a dickhead so I had to reply.” she snapped at him.
A part of her knew she had taken a step too far but there was no going back now, Dante had managed to make her blood boil. His words stung, and she managed to keep a straight face. The thought of those she loved being hurt was terrifying but she knew that she had to be stronger and she was. She laughed as she glared at him. “You’re all words Lestrange, You’re not good enough for anything.” she spat. “You’re not strong enough, brave enough, you’re useless. You won’t be hurting anyone I love, or anyone I care about.”
“Glad you could meet my dickhead with you’re stellar bitch as retorts.”He quipped right back as he swung his finger in front of her face, his hands landing on his hips, as he blinked at her.
Dante’s hand immediately twitched off his body and gestured near his wand, his chest rising and falling, and his bottom lip getting gnawed on by his teeth to sustain his anger. The boy let the words sink in and as they did his face feel to a neutral one, while his eyes remained wild if not enraged. “Challenge accepted Wood.”he smirked, as he turned from her, and darted off.
jamesiriuspotterii “Oh,” James replied, watching as the boy reached down to pick up his badge–a prefect badge, he realized. “Well, um…I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to?” He said, unsure how else to reply.
Dante let out a chuckle as he rolled his eyes. “It’s fine. Just means the spliff wasn’t meant to be I guess.”

“Thank you. I do have a reputation as a very cool guy here at Hogwarts – wouldn’t want my tea-loving ways to ruin that.”
“Well to be fair...”He began, pausing, because he couldn’t just openly express his thoughts. “...To be fair you’re cool regardless of what tea you love and don’t love.”
cesarowle “Well it doesn’t taste like it at all. I was expecting coffee, not…that.”
“Yeah, well it’s been a rough couple days, and I wanted to let the edge off a Monday morning.”

“Do not hold back on my account,” Albus insisted. Honestly, the young Potter was curious as to what was on the other boy’s mind. Clearly he had something to say and he might as well get it off his chest while he still had a chance. Listening to him, Albus’s lips tightened as he started to get tense. “You mean the family that is all Gryffindors, while I am the only Slytherin? The family where I am the social outcast and hardly can find anything in common with any of them, I guess you are right. You know a lot more about me than I thought. I may have a large family, but do not mistake that with not having my own issues with it. You try and survive a holiday at Grandma Weasley’s house with everyone there.”
It appeared Dante was rather flustered by this whole line of conversation as was Albus. At what first started out as pleasant conversation took a turn into some deep things that Albus had no prepared himself for, especially when it came to Scorpius. “Not to sound rude or anything, but did it ever occur to you that it might be you that has the off-putting personality not Scorpius? Perhaps you did something to him originally which led to all these events?”
Dante sat back, listening to everything that spilled from the other boy’s lips, and nodded slowly. Dante could’t just assume things, well he did, but he supposed vocalizing his opinions was the wrong route altogether. He wasn’t about to argue with the boy. “Here.”he commented, segueing roughly over the conversation of his family, Slytherin’s and Scorpius, and pushing his notebook over to Albus. He wasn’t sure if Albus was really paying attention anymore, and he shouldn’t get behind on Dante’s account. “I’ve been multitasking.”he offered, trying to lighten the mood, and sniffing the air as he looked ahead.
“And if it makes you feel any better not having any family besides my mum and not having any friends does that to you.”he smirked sadly after a pregnant pause, he knew he was a cluster fuck of negativity, people telling him so wasn’t news. “You’re lucky to have them all.”

Dominique had had plenty of violent moments during her past six years at Hogwarts, but there was something that put her off about other students–especially ones that were so young–fighting as well. She marched on over to Dante, hands on her hips as she took in his badge and the blunt. “Isn’t it your job to fix that?” she asked, pointing over to where the kids were still tussling on the ground. She would’ve stopped it herself, but it was very likely that she would get some blame for being involved.
There were ‘whooshes’ when it came to the Weasley clan women and strutting. They had a march and an air about them when they were on a mission, and Dominique Weasley had her own presence. The boy’s eyes twitched to the girl, her domineering stare boring down at him, and a smirk playing at his lips. “Depends on how far they get.”he remarked as he tilted his head to watch them.

“Who said I wasn’t going back to Slytherin? I am merely following your orders, like a good student. Why would I ever want to go around Hogwarts at night? Shame the thought,”
“I liked you so much better when you weren’t talking.”he remarked as they neared the Slytherin entrance.

Graham laughed loudly. “You need to lighten up, sweetheart. Don’t you know how flirting works? It’s all in good fun.”
Dante huffed at the ‘sweetheart.’ “Honey please.”he dismissed with a narrowing of his eyes. “I’ve never exactly been subjected to a Nott flirting, especially not one who uses his targets as holders of his clothing. You’d think your flirting would lead to the subject taking the clothes off for you.”
aliceinwondrlnd “She’s not trying to be a saint. She is just decided to focus a little more on schoolwork–that’s all. But, we haven’t switched? Besides, wouldn’t that be less like balance and more like a strange alternate dimension?”
The level of disbelief rose as Alice went on, so much so that the boy’s brow arched and began twitching before he let out a languid sigh. “Still balance, don’t get me started on my multiverse theories Longbottom, we’d be here for days.”
“Oh my god,” Cesar spat. “What was in that drink?”
“Whiskey and a bit of honey.”
“Don’t judge, don’t judge – it’s honey bush tea, and it’s delicious. I’d go for darjeeling, or some classic earl grey, but – there’s a right time for every tea, and this time, well – this time is honey bush time.”
“You’re secret’s safe with me sir.”

“When you’ve got too many cousins to count and two little siblings, you learn to not let your guard down.” James replied, and then slipped his hands into his pockets. “You sure?” He asked again. “Well, if you say so. Just looked like you were having a bit of a hard time there.”
Dante stopped, arching a brow at the boy, and crossed his arms. “Interesting.”he remarked, glancing down to see the badge had fallen near the older boy’s feet. Dante closed his distance with the eldest Potter, before swiping down to snatch it, and rising to meet the boy’s face.
“You were giving me hard time.”
gabrielalabaster “Because that’s basically what it is?” he whined childishly, not minding that he was proving Dante’s point. “And I don’t need a chaperone to get back to the dormitory,”
“You do if you’re not entirely devoted on going back, so deal sourpuss.”
