so I started a new anxiety medication this past week and so far it’s been going very well except that I have extremely vivid dreams and apparently sleep texting. I seem to have sent this at 3am and i have no memory of it

im a lil high and i have cilantro soap questions
if cilantro tastes like soap to some people why is it such an uncommon soap scent? I feel like things that taste like soap should be soap
before soap existed what did the soap gene cavemen say cilantrussy. hang on i have to stop this mid sentence because my phone autocorrected cilantro to cilantrussy which means i have previously typed that word out enough for my phone to think it’s a word and more of a word than cilantro. i have some inward reflection to do.
it’ll never fail to amaze me that chessex, the game dice company - like if you bought your first dice set from a game store/comic shop/card shop you most certainly bought a chessex set - has such an ugly and poorly designed website. it looks like they went out of business 15 years ago.
i don’t know what’s better, the fact that they only sell five different things and felt like they needed a site map, the single uk location with the giant union jack, or simply the times new roman header which reads:
“The coolest dice on the planet.” ™

my mistake, literally every single page you click on has a different copyright date. so far I’ve seen 2001, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, and most recently 2012. amazing. well done chessex.

just stumbled across Francisco Soria Aedo's work and first off: really good painter, super talented. He mainly did portraits and neoclassical but I really like are his expressions, which do show up in his neoclassical work. lots of people smiling and having fun and it's just very cute

Does ADHD ever feel to you like a semi-physical sensation. I legit like. When I'm trying to get work done and my attention span is it's limit and I just CAN NOT do work anymore I feel a sort of tension within my body. idk. some sort of inner vibration. Not like, just tapping your foot or shaking your leg but something deeper than that. Anyways I need to write an essay but I CANNOT focus, my body is screaming at me to do something else, I need to go eat lunch

Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if part of that feeling (and oh yes, I KNOW that feeling) really *is* physical- a big part of ADHD is dopamine dysregulation. If we're low on dopamine, our body really REALLY needs more- its a mood stabilizer, it's a neurotransmitter that helps different regions if the brain communicate, it even is involved in the motor control pathways. It does *so many things* in the body beyond just "feels good" - it's the oil in the machine that keeps a lot of body systems moving smoothly.
If you're low on dopamine and the task ahead of you isn't a likely source of getting more (because our dopamine release systems are a fucking skinner box half the time with adhd)- like, if you told that had a real noticeable affect on the body beyond just your mood? Yeah, that makes sense.
