So close to finishing the second chapter of my only posted fic rn but also fighting my demons not to rewrite it to include Sorbet and Gelato because I need people to know how I see them and I just know that the Sorbet and Gelato fans will eat it up.

Seeing a lot of negativity and stuff about how aro people hate romance and Valentine’s Day and stuff so uh— Hi! Hello! I exist! I’m Aegoromantic! That’s on the aromantic spectrum! I exclusively feed off of the romance of fictional media, being uncomfortable with being in a relationship myself. I usually wouldn’t be so open but the narrative of aro people hating romance is bugging me a lot because it’s so generalizing and stereotypical. I adore romance, I only feel romantic love vicariously as an observing third party to fiction. I won’t personally want a character to date me, but if they love another character then that love will give me the joy that romance with another person gives an allo person! I love watching people in love, romance is one of my favourite things and I massively enjoy cute cheesy fanart and fanfics. I’m also aegosexual, though I won’t really be explaining that one since I think you can infer. Just know that aro people are not a monolith, each one of us is unique and our microlabels have meaning. I love romance. I could never hate something that gives me so much joy. We are out here, and if you’re a fellow aegoromantic just know you’re not alone. in like 2019 there was a masterful jojo kinfessions blog in the same vein as sonic for real justice, where it was revealed that mod bruno had been paying their younger sibling minimum wage to moderate the blog on their behalf, and they also got called out for calling people whores. then they wrote a fanfiction where the first letter of each line spelled out WHORE. am i the only one who remembers this? i can’t find record of it anywhere but i’m always thinking of mod bruno’s sign off of “your capo, mod celibate bruno” please help

Nobody talks about how difficult it is to get any kind of medical care or help for reproductive organs as a trans man. Every pad or tampon is covered in “she can” “#likeagirl” logos and female symbols. “Feminine hygiene products”. “When a woman gets her period”.

Googling any issue— “why does my [any afab part] have [any common afab issue]?” Yields results exclusively saying “Many women experience—“ “women may—“ “for most women—“ “it is normal for women—“

You are undereducated on your own high-maintenance body thanks to constant misogyny in your upbringing, and even with a full beard and deep voice and bottom growth it still feels like a shot to the chest to have to do anything that should be a comfortable and safe experience for you. Logos and slogans meant to comfort and empower you make you feel hopeless, doctors and Internet forums and simple labels on services or items a constant reminder that you were not born male.

You don’t know how to manage or care for your own body, but to seek help from others is to send yourself into a downward spiral. It’s your mental health or your physical health, and you have to choose because nowhere on earth with a medical degree was made with you in mind.

Bottom surgery is dangerous and rarely even works for trans men. Top surgery leaves you with a target on your back from your easily recognizable scars. Prosthetics are expensive and uncomfortable. No matter how long you take testosterone there’s a chance your period will never go away, or it will come back after some time and stay. You will never get the luxury of being free from the hell of a female body, and all of the exclusive, under researched, and stigmatized issues that come with it.

And to top it all off, you’re a fetish and an oddity, or a confused little girl if you let anyone find out.

Don’t usually talk about this stuff but evidently I have had a rough week. There is a reason I’m stealth everywhere but here.

Honest opinion on Bruabba? (Bruno x Abbacchio)

I like it, I’m not sure why so many people are divided on it. It’s sweet and they’re practically attached at the hip in the manga/anime, always looking at eachother and smiling in official art, etc. I say that if someone ships it it’s totally fair, and if they don’t that’s fair too. Their relationship is heartwarming regardless of if it’s romantic or not, they clearly love eachother even if that love is platonic. I personally do ship it, but I’m also a crazy aegoromantic multishipper so if there’s a legal ship I’ll probably ship it.
