Release on-line
After a few months, we’ve decided to put the film on-line so anyone can watch it. Thanks to the backers, friends, the crew and others support we managed to make the film, so we’d like as many people as possible to see it.

Premier
At long last we get to show the film - this is an invited audience, the cast and crew, plus a few guests who we hope will be able to help move the show forwards. Ash in particularly has been hard at work - amongst many other projects, follow him on Facebook for more information - organising the event, the colour grade, finishing the picture edit, overseeing the sound edit and of course scoring the entire piece.
Keith has started taking the ideas from Ash, Andy, Ric and also Dan to work into a pitch we hope to present along with the film or following interest from it being seen. Ric, amongst many other cool projects - follow him on twitter for more glimpses - has finished our T-shirt rewards, which are very cool indeed.
Although trying to sell the idea of Dark Fables - now we have it to be it's own best marketing tool - is a long uncertain process, we will also have this screening, this first episode, to act as the very best possible example of what we were trying to make - the kind of series we want to watch, we want to make and we want to share with people.
Thank you to anyone and everyone who has helped and shown an interest - we very much hope you will soon be able to watch the episode soon: at a cinema, on TV, through a computer or on your phone. We want to make more like this so there may well be a delay until we can get it to you, but we really believe you'll find it worth it!

Test viewing
We have each shown a very limited number of people the current edit. Other directors, friends, people who like this kind of series and those who don't. Although thankfully the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, there have been some comments, queries and criticisms. Ash has collated these, then reviewed the cut with Dan to see needs to be done. All of these viewings were done before he finished the audio polish - we have additional dialog recording sessions with Andy and Delilah scheduled in the next two weeks. Although you can't answer ever single question every audience member might have - without making a book of footnotes to go with the film, anyway - this process should ensure there are no spots we're blind to looking at it from the inside.
Ash has added an insert shot, replace a couple of shots that were previously cut out and made notes of a couple of dialog tweaks to clarify points. This work was expected and scheduled in, so he is still confident to passing the film, locked, for colour grade in a couple of weeks and finishing his own sound/score work while that's being done.
