Aight, many of you know about my manatee project. I have officially crossed over the half way mark to 100 manatees. My ultimate goal is to have a coffee table book with all of them. I have been working on it since 2022. When I was a kid my mom took me to Seaworld(back before we knew about all the issues). They had a manatee exhibit. I saw my first manatee and I fell in love. It was my favorite animal from then on. She saw my excitement and bought me a plushie at the gift shop. His name is Mr. Manatee. I had a rough childhood and Mr. Manatee made it easier for me to sleep at night. He was a strong source of comfort. Every time I draw them I go back to that feeling of safety <3 TLDR: Manatees are therapy
