I agree with you but I think you should be a tiny bit more considerate with how you discuss mentally disabled people [[even if they are white]] if you are not one of us.

i am autistic and psychotic and have been hospitalized multiple times bc of being seen as a monster instead of someone dealing with a disability, and even if i wasnt…..me telling u white bitches that racism hurts me before anything else would still be true

ive watched disabled ppl in my community be literally murdered for being brown during a mental crisis, ive seen black ppl become disabled bc of cops seeing their anxiety attacks as “violent attacks” as threats and taking it as an excuse to beat their legs until they could not walk anymore, i have lost black friends to involuntary confinement bc instead of being treated with empathy when dealing with bipolar episodes or sickle cell flare ups or chronic pain making them beg for help they were looked at as criminal drug seekers who were dangers to others just for being black while having those symptoms, please go follow a white person and block me, u assuming that i have no idea what im talking about and cant possibly be disabled is exactly why racism has to come first in these conversations

Hey y’all. I am struggling to make ends meet because I don’t get consistent work hours and until i can figure out how to afford driving school I just don’t have any other options for a better job, theres just no other jobs in my area that I haven’t applied to already.

The situation

I am $6 short on my phone bill which is due today, and my job tells me when I am scheduled via texting me on a nightly basis on whether or not im coming in. So i need that badly.

I also have to rely on Ubers to get home, i only have a ride in the mornings. I need roughly $60 for this coming Monday and Tuesday (if im even scheduled) and then on Wednesday I should get paid enough to figure it out until the next week.

I also need maybe up to $150 for groceries, or i am also plugging an amazon wishlist that has some groceries, toiletries, and clothes that would be amazing to get.

Tbh im super in the hole. Im almost fully over-drafted, I have 3 payday loans out, im late on one credit card as of today, and two payments late on the other one, and im one payment late on a normal loan, im very fucked and the actual amount that would fix it is way higher than im willing to ask for.

Random thought, but I resent always having to clarify myself as a Black woman.

No one ever asks the racists in question to clarify themselves, it's always just assumed that they "had good intentions" and that I must have "misunderstood".

But EYE got to approach with a "nice tone" and "prove myself" in order to be heard, because the accusation is seen as worse than the action itself.
