Hello I read “New day, new me... Literally” and I want to say that I really liked reading it and I’m looking forward to part 2 :)
(Lol I forgot about writing this so I used an editing bot to help. Sorry if it does not make sense I didn't proofread this)
"Stella! Get up!"
You groaned loudly in response to your mother's voice. She huffed and grabbed your shoulder roughly pulling you from bed. Groaning once more, you trudged over to the bathroom to brush your teeth, wash your face and comb your hair. You were going to need all the energy you could muster up to get ready. You left the bathroom and started to walk down to the kitchen, hoping to find breakfast, but instead, you ran right into someone. Hard. Falling to the ground your eyes shot open and you felt tears form behind them. "I'm sorry!" You cried out as you quickly got up to help whoever you bumped into. You both apologised and helped each other up. "Are you ok?" You asked. Your hand was still outstretched in front of them waiting for them to shake their hand.
"Yes I'm fine." He replied after a short pause. He stared at you, looking slightly confused, until suddenly realisation hit him. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry." He said kneeling down and placing his hand on your head. His touch sent a shudder through your spine and goosebumps raised on your skin. "Sorry Stella, " Stolas muttered. You just nodded. After this interaction was over you decided it would be best not to talk much as you'd end up telling him embarrassing stories or saying something stupid. Standing up you dust yourself off and offer your hand to Stolas. This made his eyes grow big as he gazed down at your outstretched hand. Slowly he took your hand and pulled himself up. "Um...thanks again for helping me. '' Stolas murmured as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and smiled slightly.
A sudden knock at the door made you jump slightly and Stolas' face turned pale. Nervously you shuffled over and opened the door. There stood your butler with a small tray of food. Giving him a polite smile, you turned back to Stolas. "I've already eaten, thank you." You spoke politely trying to hide the fact that you didn't want to eat anymore.
"You should probably eat something." He responded softly. Smiling, you gave a nod as an agreement and thanked him once more walking over to the small table near the windows. Sitting down you began to eat what you had been given while Stolas stayed standing at the entrance watching you with wide eyes. When finished you gathered your dishes and headed for the sink. As the soap ran down your wrists, you could hear footsteps following you. You looked up in surprise seeing Stolas was still by the doorway, "Do you not trust me?" You questioned looking up at him. You were curious about what he was thinking. Why did he follow you?
"What do you mean?" Stolas answered hesitantly, taking a seat at the table. You hummed lightly in response and grabbed the dirty plates to dump in the sink. "You seem very nice. I think you could make someone happy."
Your eyes widened at his statement and your cheeks grew warm. What kind of words was that coming from his mouth? "Thank you, I really don't believe that though. " You sighed and wiped the counter down thoroughly. Looking to your side and seeing Stolas was gazing directly at you. You stopped cleaning and turned around facing him. "I can assure you that you will. Just give me some time and I promise that you won't regret it." The demon's words caught you off guard. Before you knew it you started laughing. Laughing uncontrollably, Stolas couldn't help but join you. It wasn't long till he had joined you. Soon enough, your laughs began to slow down until you both were only chuckling quietly. You smiled up at him and shook your head lightly, "It was really nice speaking to you again." You said sincerely.
"Me too. " He responded softly. "Maybe we could hang out again sometime." He suggested. You grinned and nodded your head rapidly, "Of course!" You agreed happily. "Now if you excuse me I must return to my duties." And without another word they hurriedly exited the room leaving you alone once again. A soft sigh escaped your lips and you sink into the chair at the table. You were so eager to meet Stolas again. Especially now because he said he would make you happy. With a slight pout, you continued scrubbing the counter clean until the sound of footsteps approaching brought you out of your thoughts.
Quickly drying your hands and turning to face the intruder. There stood your mother glaring at you. Grabbing your wrist she dragged you out of the kitchen. "Where are you taking me?" You shouted as you struggled against her grip on your wrist. "To your lessons." She stated. You let out a scream as she dragged you through the house until reaching her bedroom. Slamming the door she released your wrist. "Sit down." You complied immediately and plopped onto the edge of your bed. "This isn't over." You heard your mother say before leaving the room.
You sighed heavily and rested your head in between your knees. You really hoped that everything was going okay. You wouldn't mind spending a little bit more time with that boy again, but at the moment you weren't sure how much longer you could last. You really liked talking to him and having him around, but what would happen tomorrow? Would he forget about you? Or would you forget about him like everyone else?
Worrying about tomorrow brought a frown to your face. You weren' t worried about losing your home and family, but rather if you were going to lose Stolas. It sounded pretty horrible and you didn't want to be replaced. So far your relationship was going really well. You couldn't imagine doing anything to ruin it, but you were starting to doubt whether or not the Prince would want to keep you around forever. If that were the case maybe the chances of seeing him again were dwindling. Maybe he would grow tired of you and leave you here to rot away. That wouldn't be good.
"Stella, I'm home!" A familiar voice called. Quickly you got up from the bed to greet whoever was standing at the door
