Since everything’s being put on hold for the week, I’m gonna work on Darko and Katarina a bit more to flesh them out, as I was feeling a bit off key with them. This also means I’d LOVE to plot with you guys! I’d adore doing some more plots started from first interaction and spanning forward with a basic idea of where we want it to lead. I’ll be here and there sporadically this week, so feel free to shoot me a message if you’re interested!

“Yeah, this situation does save me some money. Both with not having to go to the gym and not having to pay more because of an elevator.” she agreed with a small nod. The last thing she had assumed that would spark another’s interest are books. Most thought they were incredibly lame, or not something to entertain yourself with on a weekend off. “Nothing special. A few old classics, which I can’r help myself from getting hooked on again and again, and a book on science. Nothing too special, really” She and one of her best friends were quite the book hoarders. Getting a new one almost every other weekend, because one a month couldn’t keep them content. It was an awful habbit she really couldn’t help. “Wouldn’t that be the surprise of the evening if that would be true.” she teased back, making him wait a moment longer before revealing the truth. “But no, I live on the thirth floor. Quite a few stairs still, but not all the way up.”
“Two bird with one stone, aye.” Darko replied, coming to the stairs. The building’s lack of stairs reminded him how much he loved the elevator in his own, because even if it didn’t always work, it saved him a good five minutes when it was. “Classics, huh? They were my favourite growing up. Well - Russian ones were more my forte, but still.” He shrugged with a sheepish grin. Even before they’d moved there when he was a teenager he’d always been a fan of Russian work, something that’d helped him learn the language faster than expected. At her comment he raised a brow, glancing at her suspiciously, not sure if she was baiting him or not. When she conceded the answer he nodded, glad it wasn’t too high up. “Thank God,” he chuckled, “That I can do.”

“More beer! This sounds like a great idea,” she said nodding her head quickly wiggling in her chair.
“Beer is always a great idea.” Grinning, Darko grabbed the one placed in front of him, taking a big swig.

Tyler laughed at what the stranger was asking. “Wait, me? Did your friends put you up to this or something? Sure, man, if you want, I don’t mind.”
“Of course you,” Darko replied, raising a brow, “Look at that dazzling smile, who else’d I be talkin’ to?” Smiling, he cheered internally at the victory. “Well, then...” Leaning forward he placed a kiss to his lips.

“Y- y- y- you’re drunk…” He muttered knowing that this was bound to happen. He didn’t even want to go out tonight and he never did enjoy the bar scene. “L- l- l- l- let me take you h- h- h- h- home.” He said quietly as he glanced away from the other as he felt his cheeks turn a bright red and grabbed his coat to avoid the others gaze as he got up from his seat.
“So very very drunk.” Darko drawled with a grin. Eyes following the other man’s movements, “We don’t need’a leave yet... the nights still young!” Leaning against the bar he noticed his discomfort and sighed. “Not havin’ fun?” He asked curiously with a tilt of the head. The idea of him having a shit time wasn’t appealing, so Darko conceded, “okay, we can go - but promise me we’ll do somethin’ fun another time? No alcohol involved.”

“You’re like a puppy right now If I kissed you you’d be so shook ya wouldn’t know what to do with yourself. I’m just lookin’ out for you.” She teased back ending with a wink as she raised her glass to her lips and finishing it off.”And because I’m looking out for you I’m gonna take you home right now.”
“I’d probably dissolve into a puddle of joy, or maybe spontaneously combust - whichever comes first.” Grabbing his beer, he finished it off in one final gulp before glancing back over, pout reforming. “But the night’s young! It’d be a waste to leave now.” Pausing, brow furrowed for a few seconds, he smiled, “Okay, I’ll leave; if yah have one dance with me.”

Looking at Darko, Dominic already knew he was well past the cut-off point. “You would think a fine gentlemen like yourself would take me out to dinner before you were thinking about laying one on me. What kind of girl do you take me for? I’m not going to spread my legs for you either just because you want me to,” a smirk grew on his face. “How long have you been drinking?”
“Oh, I’m sorry - did I offend your delicate sensibilities?” Cheeky as always, an idea came to mind, and he got on one knee, a shit-eating smirk playing at his features, “Well then, Mr Dominic Cross, will you do the honour of accompanying me to a take out dinner of leftover noodles and half a pizza on the couch?” Bouncing back up, “How was that? Gentlemanly enough?” Considering how much he’d had to drink, he was amazingly coherent, despite the odd stumble or hiccup. Scratching his forehead at the question, he glanced down at his hands and tried to work it out, “Hmm... if I started at... and it’s currently... I’ve been drinking for approximately, I don’t know.”

“I’m not drunk enough for this. But if you behave, I’ll consider it for the end of the night.”
“I’mma hold yah to that, Dommy boy!” Darko teased, finishing off the rest of his beer. “Look at these lips,” he grinned, pointing to his own, “you’d be lucky to have a taste of these.”

“On the cheek, sure… But anything more and you’d have to buy me a drink first.” She teased, winking back his way.
Grinning, Darko placed a kiss to her cheek. “Well now, guess I’mma have’ta buy yah a drink then.” Turning to the bar he beckoned the bartender over before glancing back at the woman, “What do yah want, love?”
Emilai couldn’t help but chuckle “Probably not.” she shook her head “ Are you alone? You’re quite drunk to be alone.”
“I was with a friend,” he replied, screwing up his nose, “but she ditched me, and I dunno... think I am all alone now,” he pouted.

Emilia shook her head “ I’m sorry. I’m not interested.” she looked away from the drunk man.
Smiling he shrugged. “That’s too bad,” he replied, disappointed. Cupping his hand around his mouth and nose he breathed out, trying to smell test, “my breath prob’ly isn’t the nicest right now,” he chuckled.

Bella wasn’t much of a drinker, not anymore at least, and by the time she was nursing her second glass of wine in the pretty lengthy time they’d been there he was drunk and she couldn’t help, but find it a tad on the amusing side, when he’d asked for a kiss the novelty subsided. “I’m gonna hard pass on that one.” Though she was rejecting the offer Bella still forced an amused smile and affectionately pinched his cheek.
“B-but...” Darko started before deflating, ducking his head sheepishly. “Naw, okay...” His pout was playful before ultimately shrugging, offering a friendly smile. “You don’t know what yah missin’ out on,” he teased.

Oliver glanced at the pout on the other man’s face before looking back at his bottle. He had clearly disappointed the other man, something that left a pit of guilt. Though, he was still standing by his decision. The other man was far too drunk to be making any sort of decisions. “I um, yeah, I suppose will.” He said quietly, his face only becoming a darker shade of red at the compliment. “Um, thank you.” He bit his bottom lip, taking another drunk from his bottle before taking the seat beside him. “Thanks.” He said before nodding. “Yeah, o’course.” At least, he thought, it seemed much less lonely sitting with somebody than sitting alone and waiting for somebody to show up. “So uh, Darko right? That’s a unique sort o’ name. Never heard it before.”
Hand clasping a water just requested, he took a sip, relishing in the refreshing hit. He really needed to start sipping on water between drinks - he always found himself forgetting, too caught up in the alcohol. A habit he’d picked up as a teenager that followed him into adulthood. It wasn’t hard to figure out the other man was a lot shyer than himself. Darko’s confidence soared, especially when talking to those he found attractive; mainly because he could usually charm people’s pants off, plus he unconsciously liked to impress those he was attracted to.The charm only slightly decreased when inebriated. “Oli it is, then.” He smiled, nodding - “Now, I like yah already. Lot’s a people think it’s weird, but ‘Tis Slavic. The folks wanted a full on Croatian name.”

“Tell me about it” the brunette grumbled with a light smile as she picked up the smaller bag she brought as well and followed him. “Though I do it’s quite impossible to build one without putting the whole building on lockdown for a while. I think I even heard the doorman talk about a great workout once as a great excuse to not put an elevator in - No rocks, and not much make-up either. I do have a few books in there that make it a little heavy to carry. Guess I wasn’t thinking about that when I packed…” Automatically her brown eyes shifted from the hallway to his arms, studying the muscles he said were not just for show. “Well, I can’t wait to see if you’re speaking the truth.”
Falling into pace with her, he nodded in agreement. “Think I’d be pretty pissed if they put my buildin’ on lockdown, so fair enough. Plus, means yah don’t have’ta have a gym membership, aye? Free exercise when yah least want it,” he chuckled, shrugging. His interest peeked when she mentioned books, “what kinda books yah have, love?” He asked curiously. A love of books ran in his blood, his mother always dedicating a room (usually one of the larger ones) to them, filled to the brim. While he hadn’t read as much in a while, mainly just his bible for sermons, he’d been wanting to get back into it. Grinning cheekily he flexed, lifting the suitcase with him. “I only speak the truth,” he joked. “Though I have a feeling the next thing you’re gonna say is that yah live on the top floor.”

“Mmm thank you, let’s get more beer,” she said nodding her head pulling away from him and ordering them two more beers.
“I can always go for more beer,” he grinned, glancing over at the bar eagerly. "Drinks and more dancing? Hows that sound?”

“Suit yourself.” Lucy pulled back to lock her eyes with his. There is a moment of searching, unclear what she’s even looking for, before she leans in and kisses him. Her hands moved up to drape loosely over his shoulders as she kissed him, pressing herself against him. “Is that all you wanted,” she asked softly against his lips.
Hands set firmly in place he held her close, and despite his drunkenness made sure not to pull too forcefully. Darko responded eagerly, kissing back. Kissing a pretty blonde? That was a victory to him. “Well... I wouldn’t be opposed to more.”

Oliver watched the man as he set his beer to the side. Oliver’s beer was still near him. His first one, only part way drank. He was supposed to be meeting somebody.They had never shown up and an hour after they were meant to arrive, he ordered a beer in hopes they were running late and in fear of looking terribly awkward. “I have a rule against kissing drunk people,” He said before adding quickly, “not that you’re not a kissable person you have a pretty face but you’re drunk so I have to say no.” He spoke quickly, his face flushing red before awkwardly taking a drink of his beer. “I’m Oliver and we’re still strangers.”
From a smile to a pout, Darko would be lying if he said he wasn’t a little disappointed, though maybe that was a bit of an understatement. He may be drunk, but his mind was set. “I guess I’m gonna have’ta sober up,” he mumbled before smiling again at the following words. “I happen to think you have a very pretty face too.” Propping himself on the bar stool by his hip, he shifted so he was facing the row of stools, and patted the one beside him, motioning for Oliver to sit. “Can I call yah Oli?
