As a child, I was forced to listen to his utter bullshit on a constant basis, along with radio programs featuring Bob Larson, Billy Graham and other like-minded divisive fuckery. Listening to all the hate being spewed from Limbaugh, and others like him, made me have a hair-trigger response to all that asshatery: I will not tolerate it, I will not listen to the hate-mongering being perpetuated and I will push back with everything I have.

People raised on this tripe have a choice- embrace it and become like them, or think for yourself and how you would feel if you were in the shoes of the people they were lambasting. People aren't born hating, it's taught at the knee of those purported to care for them most.

I'm not sorry Limbaugh is dying. I hope he suffers mightily, along with those that follow his example.

how has your day been?  Weird!  I keep having these vivid dreams that come from left field - last night, I dreamed I was speaking to someone and my right jaw hurt, then, like some horror movie, I removed my right jaw bone and just ran around asking people what I should do.  Crazy.

what was the last thing that made you smile?   My husband baking bread.  He’s kinda adorable about it.  He keeps asking me if I want different flavors and such, and I’m like, nope, just plain is good enough.

what’s keeping you entertained these days?  Writing (HP fandom), reading and binge-watching survival reality shows on Prime.  I swear, if I’m ever stuck in the wilderness, I’ll be ready.  

if you are in some kind of quarantine/self isolation, is there anything you’d like to achieve in this time?  Honestly, just don’t want to get COVID-19, because A) I’m in a high-risk category, and B) I work in the medical field and often come into contact with those that could be carriers and not know it.

In no particular order.  I’ve come to realize I don’t resonate with fluffy stuff.  I mean, look at these?  Most of them are nightmare fuel.  LOL  And most of these I watched under the age of 10, so...

Out of all the signs, I worry about Sagittarius the most.

I feel that most people dismiss Sagittarius as being the happy, optimistic, funny, and reckless sign, which is most definitely true. It’s overwhelmingly true to the point where I feel like people aren’t emotionally concerned with them enough. They always look so laid back and relaxed to where I feel like some people wouldn’t even really know if they were suffering on the inside. I feel that people wouldn’t ask because the emotional issues are hidden behind their goofy nature.

People always mention the earth and water signs being the signs that often hide their emotional trauma the most, which is true. But I feel that Sagittarius hides their traumas in such a way where it’s truly hidden. You can tell when a Cancer is sad, or when a Scorpio is thinking intensely about something. But Sagittarius? You can’t have an effective emotional reading on someone who looks fine. People wouldn’t think of Sagittarius first when it comes to a sign that’s sad, but I feel that Sagittarius may be the saddest sign of them all. If anything, they use humor and joy as a coping mechanism, which is the most effective way to hide any pain you have.

Sagittarius also rules over philosophy, for they seek the truth. Throughout their lives, they’ve probably discovered how ugly the world can be. Sagittarius is admirable because they are probably aware of the negative side of the world, but they still choose to look at the world in an optimistic light. They still choose to have hope in the world, even if they may be hurting inside.

It’s going to be hard to narrow it down to 7, but here we go...

1. Aliens I and II - I like giant space bugs. 

2. Spirited Away - the visuals, the story, just awesome and calming

3. Poltergeist I and II - I love paranormal shit

4. Clue - BEST COMEDY EVER!  @tinyarmedtrex agrees with me

5. Star Wars & Star Trek movies - I love epic space operas, but Wrath of Khan always, ALWAYS fucks me up (TOS of course), and Luke Skywalker was my hero as a kid

6. Doctor Sleep - my new favorite.  I could watch that on repeat for hours.

7. Jaws - I’ve watched this movie so much, my brothers and I can quote the whole thing beginning to end.  Plus, MURDER ANIMALS!
