Had a thought. For how PHM x Iron Lung Canons could coexist.
So. This gets very sciencey, but you probably suspected that already, so. So so so. Black holes, right? They usually eat everything up, they’re super dense and super large collections of mass that create hyper-intense gravity fields. But we’ve also seen Black Holes spit things out.
What if, a very Mars-like planet, a collection of space stations, and some moons, alongside some other space debris, drifted to the edge of a passing by blackholes’ range, and got subsumed into one particular sort of fold of spacetime along the rim of the black hole, travelling with the black hole in their personal pocket of spacetime, that being consumed was the silent rapture. That their Mars isn’t actually Mars, it was just in the right enough position within the fold relative to them, and similar enough to Mars to take Mars’ place without anyone realising too much because they’re a bit focuses on everything else seemingly disappearing.
This black hole moves onwqrds in the direction of Tau Ceti and/or the Eridani star system, and the fold holding Iron Lung destabilises, or catches along another ripple in spacetime thats particularly strong, and rips the fold open, spitting out everything similarly to popping a balloon with glitter in it, sending everything, everywhere around, and maybe Ellie reacts poorly to this and somehow Launches the sm13, maybe something in the moon explodes from the fold erupting, maybe Grace rescues the sm13 from the moon, idk, you have options.
But thats my take on enmeshing the universes without too much scifi fiction bs.
This probably isn’t the proper science of how a black hole works, but then again we don’t know everything abt them since their destructive makes them a bit hard to you know. Study.
