They both survived fire. Adam just Ordered Aziraphale and Madam Tracy to be 2 separate bodies again. He was on such a roll he making bodies and controlling the world, bringing things back good as new but better.

Hear me out Crowley didn’t mean to fall what if he didn’t?

He sauntered vaguely downward. He descended into Hell. And then came back to earth.

So he rose up from Hell.

Any of this sound familiar yet guys?

He doesn’t do most bad things, he lets humans do them

We dont know how time is recorded in Hell so he could of been down there 3 days

He doesn’t look like other demons

He doesn’t want to believe he is good but he keeps doing good things.

If there is such a thing as an AntiChrist couldn’t there be an AntiAntiChrist?

He’s anti-suicide, he orders people to be Properly good, the minisodes are full of him denying he’s good but the worst he does is petty badness, well, mostly.

Maybe I forgot but didn’t Christ say he wasn’t perfect?

Wasn’t at least some Christian stuff about forgiving sins and hanging out with society’s rejected and despised too

So this book was written as a parody originally

It makes a weird kind of sense that Crowley went from Angel to reluctant Demon who didn’t fit in

And ended up hanging out with the imperfect humans who looked like one

he went native like Christ had to to walk on earth.

He loves kids (both kinds) which is like suffer the little children to come unto me or words like that

He performs good miracles even before he makes a deal with Aziraphale to do angelic ones

Also, he can perform resurrections

He can heal

He is compassionate instead of just following orders

He understands sinners and blurred edges, he spent time with Jesus just so he could see some of the world which actually fits some theological ideas about what Jesus did during the time not accounted for in his life. They think he travelled the world.

A demon hanging out with a savior just to be nice to him huh?

One of them he asks a lot by his actions and sometimes his words

They are out of order

My dear Good Omens meta enthusiasts..

He did it… Neil did the ultimate confusion trick to get us occupied until season 3 is finished…

Dialogues that appear to be one continuous scene are ripped apart and stitched together out of order.

The color grading changes, the music stops from one cut to another. Some have already suspected something like this, due to the suddenly changing clock hands and changing lighting moods within some scenes.

But now I found proof.

I was on my (not counting anymore) rewatch of season 2, when I encountered this strange dialogue scene between Crowley and Shax in episode 2 (timestamp 7:27).

The street it wet at the beginning. The color grading more on the yellow side. And Crowley seems to be in a good mood.

Then there is the cut to Shax inside the Bentley. We hear a miracle sound (implying that Shax miracles herself into the Bentley, but maybe it means something different). The music from before stops. The colors are more blueish. Crowley is more serious.

After the dialogue Crowley drives away. An guess what? The street is dry now.

And the Bentley starts off from another spot on the street:

My conclusion from this observation:

Not only are the scenes out of order, but individual cuts within dialogue. As long as characters aren't in the same camera shot.. I have to doubt if they are in the same dialogue/scene at the given time…

I think there are a lot more of these scenes. And it is a lot of work to go trough all of them. But "luckily" we have a ton of time till season 3 arrives.

It's insane… and I am ready for it.

I've had this odd question bouncing around my brain since the beginning of August after my first watch S2 roller-coaster of emotions.

We know Adam "re-set" the world post Armageddon-nah.

Since then not a peep from either god or satan.

Did Adam do something that perhaps shut them down or maybe eliminated them entirely?

Idk about Aziraphale’s body, but the bookshop… These are the mock-ups (from the X-ray features) for a scene that they ended up cutting from season 2 that Neil was lamenting because it turns out they are important for season 3
