Every morning, while I wait for my bus, I find myself staring at The Wellington Hotel. I’ve always thought, what a great location; there must be 50,000 visitors a day at this same spot. Today, I wondered what this structures’ back-story is? What was here 300 years ago? In Central London, there’s an excellent chance that this structure has been here for centuries. That got me thinking about my back-story. Four incredible children, a fantastic wife (best human being I know), a full and enriched life in Zimbabwe, a full-ride golf scholarship to the States followed by a character-building military experience in New Mexico. My career is just as colourful. A +20 year career in marketing, starting and building companies to market-leading positions, owning a 5-Star restaurant, renovating multiple properties, and now living in London and working in a vibrant influencer marketing startup.
