i am overwhelmingly in love with this dreamy, verdant loft in SoHo. i’m not much of a NY guy anymore, and honestly, it’s not like i even come close to having the $8.7 million that this is on the market for, but maybe i can find something in ATL for 1/100th of the price and it’d be just as good?

for real tho, between the stark contrast of the wood, white, and black walls, the crazy amount of natural light, and the abundance of plants surrounding the home, i’m just in awe of it all. there’s an outdoor shower in the middle of a lush garden, which is just dope as fuck considering you’re in the middle of new york but you’d barely be able to tell in that setting. there’s also a reflecting pool and a hidden projector tucked away in a wall, and all sorts of other treasures at this place. it’s truly a dream home

there’s a video you should watch that shows the home inside and out and, damn, it’s just so nice. i wanna move in asap

I’ve been into good mixes ever since SoundCloud has been a thing, and after I basically retired from making music, I’ve been quietly mixing some of my favorite songs and enjoying the results. i still lurk a bit, but i don’t come around here as often as i used to. and i don’t think tumblr will survive with this ban in place. does it matter? probably not. i’ve met some pretty cool people on here that i’ll continue to talk to in other places. this is just a website. real life is better.

so it’s still pretty chill, it’s still a summer fling thing (hence the title change), and it’s still pretty much a secret to most of the outside world because being in a known “thing” would cause problems with several people. so it’s like an affair, but without the cheating because we’re not in separate relationships.

i like kissing her, i like holding her, i like making her happy on days where she’s been sad, i like making her feel good in ways that her ex-boyfriend stopped doing. which is SO WEIRD to say because her ex-bf is one of my better friends. i think i’ve said that before. i don’t want to get into that tho.

things are good tho. better than i thought they’d be. friend’s wedding this weekend. work photoshoot planned for next week. birthday next week. work retreat soon. miss you...but that never changes, does it? gotta write more too

the vibe between us is remarkably chill. saw her at work today and it was fine. it’s like there’s no indication that we’re doing anything different outside of our normal friendship. i mean, she’s been gradually more friendly towards me since that grad party i went to in may, but that’s really only been visible to me. this “thing” started last sunday but we’re both the same people.

i guess i’m just not used to casualness since everyone i’ve liked has been in my head for so long. but this is great
