Ahaha, I had this idea sitting around for a long time, part of a request someone left in my ask box for a young Emma/Hook in AU Enchanted Forest. You know she would have been the type of Princess to climb out her window and hang with the rebel crowd and sneak bad boys (or just boy ;D ) into her room. Poor Daddy Charming, this is one Duckling you can’t control. <3
I am an impulsive roleplayer.
I let my muse take the reins and decide what threads to start or reply to in a given day. If the muse doesn’t feel it, it isn’t happening. That doesn’t mean that I hate you or that I no longer want to interact with you; I probably either lost our thread or my muse just said, ‘nah bro.’
I’m sorry I drop threads. I’m sorry I don’t reply to memes. I’m sorry I ignore my asks. I’m sorry I plot things and then don’t do them. I’m an impulsive roleplayer: my muse guides me.
Roleplaying isn’t my job: it’s my hobby. I do it for fun. My muse isn’t my coworker: my muse is my friend. We have fun together. If I started treating this as a job, it wouldn’t be enjoyable for me anymore, and the quality of my content would diminish greatly!
And while we’re on the subject, just because a thread gets dropped does not mean the relationship between our muses is dead!! Thread =/= relationship! We can start something new and continue building their bond! Relationships are important to building new aspects of our muses!
I always want to roleplay with you. Just…perhaps not with that thread. You feel?

☠ -- Killian was very nearly falling asleep in the bath when he heard the heavy boots landing upon the front porch, letting him know in an instant that the Sheriff had gotten home. While Graham was out at work, Killian had instead stayed home most of the day, doing this and that, and mostly just trying to keep busy. With his ship captured in Gold’s bottle, it wasn’t exactly easy to stay preoccupied, and he was always restless. He’d hoped that maybe a good hot soak in a bath would set him at ease, and thankfully it had seemed to be helping.
“In here, mate!” he called, hearing the front door open and close. -- ☠

☠ -- It had been an almost impossibly difficult day, especially after finally being able to return to the house Emma had claimed while she was the Dark One, after very nearly losing himself to Hades’ realm forever. He hadn’t allowed himself to truly grieve the loss of both his brother and Milah’s souls, and so in a quiet moment, he had snuck off to take a breath by himself. It wasn’t that he wanted to not be with Emma, it was simply because he didn’t want to burden her with his own sadness. He knew she didn’t care for either of them, and so he had thought it best to be alone in his grieving.
Almost out of instinct, he sought out the one part of the house he knew he could have some privacy, and of course one where there was water. Not wanting to raise Swan’s suspicions, he’d opted out of going down to the docks, and instead decided to draw himself a warm bath. As he slid into the warm water after shucking off his clothes, he could feel his pained muscles finally begin to relax. He hadn’t realized just how tense he’d been. A side effect of being resurrected?
It was only a little while though, before he heard a soft knock on the bathroom door. A tiny smile tugged at his lips; of course Emma would find him. She sounded slightly concerned when she said his name, and it made the smile grow.
“Aye, Swan, I’m in here.” he said softly. “In the bath.” -- ☠
A Dangerous Evening
♔ – The princess had taken to sneaking out of the castle recently, tired of being trailed by guards and suitors alike. Among all the stories her parents had told her, there was always one thing in common; the grand adventures they had gallivanting through the forest. So that’s what she’d done. Donned suitable attire for the occasion and slipped out of the castle, with the help of a couple of her mother’s dwarf friends.
This practice had been a frequent thing for her, although at this point, she was sure her father knew. A little part of her hoped he did. It would mean he was giving her the freedom to be someone else when she didn’t have to be princess of the enchanted forest. Being a princess was never really her style anyway.
As she mused all these thoughts over in her head, she heard the sporadic rustling of leaves. Ducking behind the nearby underbrush, she silently drew the sword that her father had given her a long time ago and waited. Although the evil queen wasn’t at large much anymore, she still had goons that wandered the forest at her command. She began to creep a little closer, hoping to get a good look at her new-found company, but to her dismay, the scattered branches were just a little too dry. A crack followed by a sheepish wince to herself gave away her position.
Surprisingly though, the voice was not the commanding voice of a queen’s guard, but the drunken slurring of a pirate. The blonde smirked a little to herself, and stood slowly, untangling herself with the foliage. Pointing her sword in his direction, she took a powerful stance, but kept her voice lighthearted.
“I think you’re going to do more damage to yourself with how inebriated you are there, pirate. You know what they say. ‘Don’t drink and joust.’” A sassy smile played around her lips, but she kept her sword at the ready. – ♔
☠ -- The Captain was a bit taken aback by the sight of the young lass; out here at night, seemingly all alone. Perhaps she was a highwayman...? It was the most his addled brain could come up with at the time, but that reasoning didn’t seem quite sound, either. She was dressed the part, certainly, but there was something about the way she carried herself that spoke of a hidden nobility.
Killian lowered his sword a touch, but not all the way, noticing she still had hers at the ready as well.
“And wha’s a young lass like yerself doing, wand’rin about the forest at this time a’ night?”
His words were still a bit muddled at best, but he attempted to compose himself in case she did deem it a sound idea to go for his coins. As he took a wide, sweeping step to the right to attempt to get a better look at her, he stepped through a patch of moonlight that filtered down through the tall branches, revealing his hook, which glinted in the dark. -- ☠

A Dangerous Evening
☠ -- Having just barely regained his senses after a long night at the local pub, Captain Jones had decided a walk might be the best thing to clear his still very fuzzy head. He and his crew had just come back to dock in order to resupply, and the good Captain had felt a round of drinks was in order. A jolly laugh, a few songs, even more pints, and the whole crew seemed to have forgotten the last two arduous months out on the open sea.
Killian stumbled out the back door as he noticed his men start to drift off to sleep on the tables and floor. Taking that as his cue, he took to a dark path leading around in a lazy fashion through the moonlit woods.
It was only by chance that he heard a crackling in the underbrush, but in his haze he could barely pull his sword from its sheath in time to whirl around and face the direction it came from.
“Th’ bloody ‘ell’s there?!” -- ☠
Hot damn it only took you a year to come back to our dear pirate. lol. Welcome back, lovies!
