Saturday rolled around rather quickly. Koa had been buzzing with excitement the entire week. She made sure to invite all of her favorite people too. Today was all about her (like every day wasn’t).
She woke up extra early at exactly 8:30 to practice her routine and get ready for her mom to come over with Z’Kaya. She couldn’t contain the energy flooding her system. She went over the routine one more time, executing the steps perfectly, before rushing to her dad’s room. She burst through the door, causing it to slam against the wall.
Koa hopped on the bed, jumping and yelling, “Dad! Dad! Dad! Wake up! Wake up!”
“Koa get the fuck down!” Sukuna groggily growled.
“Nope! Get up. Today is competition day.” Koa giggled as she continued her jumping.
Sukuna groaned then sat up. He yanked the five year old down beside him. He attacked her wiggling body with speedy tickles. Her laughter bubbled over, her little legs flailing in the air. “That should teach you not to wake me, brat.”
“I had to. Mama will be here soon.” Koa giggled. “Her and Tete Kaya are coming over.”
“Oh yeah,” Sukuna sighed. He grabbed his phone seeing Deja had texted him 20 minutes ago. He sat the phone down then turned to Koa. His little princess had the biggest starry eyes ever. He couldn’t help but fondly smile at how cute she was.
Running his hands through her wild curls, he said, “You’re going to be the best dancer today. Remember to make your presence known and leave the judges speechless, okay?”
“Otay, dad,” Koa smiled up at her dad like he had handed her planet Neptune.
“I’ll be right in the crowd, cheering you on.”
“You better or I’ma put mama on you,” Koa shot back.
Sukuna smirked. He most definitely wouldn’t mind having Deja on him (preferably on top of…. Yeah y’all get the idea at this point😐). “I’ll take whatever punishment mommy gives me.”
“Good.” Koa nodded, crossing her arms. Never noticing the twisted look on her dad’s face.
The doorbell rang, catching their attention. Koa jumped off the bed and ran to the front door with her dad following. Koa unlocked the door and flung it open in her usual chaotic manner. Z’Kaya and Deja stood there, huge smiles gracing their faces.
“Hey baby,” Deja sang. Her eyes roamed up to see a shirtless Sukuna, looming behind Koa.
Every part of him was so huge and muscular. His arms, chest, abdomen, thighs, legs— you name it. Her eyes lingered on his pecs, slowly going down to eye the rest of him. He had on a pair of black shorts that were pushed up mid-thigh. Two black bands circled around each of his strong thighs.
The tattoos only made things worse. They decorated his perfectly tan skin. Deja wanted nothing more than to trace each tattoo with her fingers so she could feel his muscles contract under her soft touch. Then flatten her tongue over them and lick every single trace of ink.
Sukuna grinned, reaching out to lift up her chin. Her dazed look turned into one of annoyance. She glared but never said a thing.
Dragging his thumb across her bottom lip, he wiped the corner of her mouth. “Stop drooling, Angel. I told you all you have to do is ask.”
Deja slapped his hand away. “Boy bye.” I know damn hell well I was not drooling…right?
Z’Kaya watched the scene unfold, amusement twinkling in her dark brown eyes. There was no denying the chemistry between the conflicting pair. Whenever Deja’s eyes lowered, filled with predatory desire, and a faint smile ghosted her lips, it meant she was captivated was about to get pounced on. In this case it would be Sukuna’s alluring body. He had practically given himself to her as an offering yet she still refused him.
Z’Kaya thought her best friend was crazy to reject Sukuna. She internally told herself, sis is better than me because I would’ve given it up already. Deciding to ease the attention, Z’kaya spoke up. “Hey Sukuna. Long time no see, bro.”
He looked at Z’Kaya, his smile growing. “Hey, Kaya. It has been a while.” His eyes drifted back to Deja whose nose was scrunched up in disgust. “Wanna come in?”
“Damn, I thought that was obvious.” Deja snapped, pushing past him. Sukuna’s smirked turned into something akin to dark happiness. What was he planning?
He stepped aside, allowing Z’Kaya to come in. She walked over to the table and placed her bag down. She was responsible for doing Koa’s hair. The bouncy five year old climbed up the chair, sitting so cutely.
“So what hairstyle are we going for?” Z’Kaya asked.
“Two puffs but I want braids across the front.” Deja said, showing her a picture of the style.”
“Ouu that’s cute.” Z’Kaya nodded. “You’re gonna be the prettiest dancer ever, Koko.”
“I’m going to be the best dancer,” Koa corrected.
Deja shook her head, quietly laughing. She wandered into the kitchen in search of a drink. Like clockwork, Sukuna appeared, this time wearing a shirt. He stood directly behind her, basically breaking down her neck. She turned around and blankly stared at him. Neither one said or did anything. The other two silently watched from a distance—until Koa spoke up.
The woman couldn’t get her words out before Sukuna quickly grabbed the side of her face, intertwining his lips with hers. She automatically kissed him back. When it finally registered after a few seconds, Deja started hitting him. Per usual, Sukuna locked his arms around her waist. She pushed at his chest which eventually broke their kiss.
Deja glared at him while trying to catch her breath. Sukuna, obviously proud of himself, shamelessly smirked. Z’Kaya had covered her face as she tried to hold back her laughter. Koa squealed. Yeah, it was a whole mess.
“Stop doing that shit, man! Why would you do that?” Deja yelled.
“Koa told you to kiss me. I was only helping you out.” He slyly said. He pushed her against the refrigerator and leaned down to her eye level. “Plus by the way you were looking at me earlier… I think you wanted to kiss more than you’d like to admit.”
“Sukuna, don’t show your ass because you have an audience,” Deja fussed.
He would’ve done it regardless. Z’Kaya presence only fueled his bold antics. Hell, he wanted everyone to see how easily she could fold.
“This isn’t any different from the past few weeks.”
“Swear what?” He teased. “Don’t want your friend to see what really goes on between us? We could always go to my room.”
Deja’s eyes narrowed. She despised the ongoing game between them. He played it so well. She hated trying to beat him on every single level.
“Unhand me, nigga. You will not embarrass me in front of outsiders.” Deja fussed.
“Damn, I guess it’s just f me then,” Z’Kaya interrupted. “Y’all can continue. Keep acting like I’m not here.”
“You are no help at all,” Deja grumped. “I’m over here being harassed and you’re just eating it up.”
“You damn right! This is more entertaining than a Tubi movie.” Z’Kaya laughed.
“Oh my gosh. I hate you hoe.” Deja groaned, turning her head back to her smirking baby daddy. “Especially you.”
“No you don’t,” Sukuna argued. His voice lowered an octave, almost making Deja’s eyes roll back. She blinked a few times while trying to stop any signs of her being affected by his words. His red eyes searing into her brown eyes. “So… my room?”
“Sukuna… I will stab the fuck out of you. Unhand me, nigga.”
Before he could say anything else, his phone rang. He checked the caller ID. It was Toji. Sukuna sighed thinking to himself, what the hell does he want this early in the morning. He begrudgingly let go of Deja and walked to the living room.
Deja quickly let out a sigh of relief. Once again her body had completely betrayed her. Heart pounding, thighs trembling, a pool of arousal drenching her panties (she actually had some on for once)-- the usual reactions whenever Sukuna teased her. She glanced over at Z’kaya who had a knowing smile on her face.
“Don’t say a thing to me.”
Z’kaya defensively put her hands up yet her smile remained. “Hey man. All I’m saying is you should hop on that. It’s a good way to relieve stress. You could be stress free by tomorrow.”
“Or I could be more stressed because he’s going to get crazier,” Deja whined, running her hands down her face. She must’ve looked super stressed if people kept pointing it out.
Sukuna walked back in, his cocky smile replaced with a look of annoyance. “I have to go to my shop. Toji said some guns are missing.”
“You’ll be able to make it to her competition in time right? Deja asked.
“Of course. I’m just gonna watch the cameras. That should only take a couple hours.” He said looking at the time on his phone. “It starts at one right?”
“Yeah, I’ll make it on time.” He walked over to Koa and placed a kiss on her forehead. She looked up from her ipad, grinning at him. “I’ll see you soon princess.”
In about an hour and a half Koa’s hair was done. Z’Kaya added red and white bows for the finishing touches. Deja packed everything she needed in her cute little duffel bag. It was red with her name in white letters.
Once everything was done, they left to drop Z’kaya off at work and pick up Akari. She would be going to watch in place of Z’Kaya and Nina.
“What’s good, G!” Akari greeted them as she got in the truck. She turned around to get a look at her niece. “Ouuuu, Koko you look so pretty. They ain’t ready for my girl.”
Koa smirked, her cocky attitude coming out. “I know. They’ll never be ready for a real one like me.”
Deja looked at her daughter through her rear view mirror. “Why can’t you just say thank you? Why must you always act like your father?”
“Because my dad is the best. That’s also why you should marry him.” Koa deadpanned.
“Girl, fuck yo daddy!” Deja slapped her hand across her mouth realizing what she said. “Oops, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t say that to a child.”
Akari burst out laughing, “You dead wrong for that.”
“Shut up.” Deja rolled her eyes. “Koa do you want to stop and get something to eat?”
“Chicken wings!” Koa chirped.
A/N: I finally did it! Chapter 6 will probably take a while because I haven’t finished writing/typing it up either. But here’s something 🥰
