The read that the yellow one is a cat/monkey/bird! The plant one is for the Paralympics, which is held right after the Olympics, and is named Tom.

The yellow one is Vinicius, and he is meant to represent and have all abilities of the animals of Brazil. Tom is meant to represent the plants, and he can pull anything out of that bush on his head.
