If I wanted to spend my money on something, I would spend it on something that I actually want and not something that people will only buy to be with the âin crowdâ or whatever. Hell, Iâll even donate some money to charities that actually deserve the money. But, I will say that it is sweet of you to not let your friendsâ money go to waste and youâll tolerate wearing Gucci so you donât hurt your friendsâ feelings!
â100%. Before this outfit, I would always wear just a normal black shirt and black jeans paired with a black hat. Donât ask me why, it just became my thing. That and I just felt at my most comfortable. Iâve never wanted to be someone who rolls with a crowd of people. fuck that. But yeah, my friend Trish got it for me and she spends ridiculous amounts of money on her friends so I can hurt her feelings.â

Can I ask this important question? What exactly is the appeal with Gucci? Like, why do so many people buy that brand? I know I asked two questions, but Iâm just a little curious about this whole thing with Gucci. However, I will say that it is sweet of your friends to spend $8,000 on something tailor made for you with the Gucci brand on it.â
âYouâre asking the wrong person, dude. I still donât get it myself and Iâve been wearing this all day. I think itâs just one of those things that are so expensive which automatically makes people want it. I kind of understood the bags as I stand by investing in a good quality one. But the clothes? Iâve worn this for not even a few hours and the pants itch SO much. And everything is so tight.â
âOh yeah, Iâve been trying to appreciate the grand gesture as I know itâs so expensive. I think I just gotta figure out how to style it without looking like a douche.â

I ⊠donât understand the appeal for Gucci? But I will say that it is sweet of your friends to do what they did for you and spend that much money on you. Again, I donât understand the appeal for Gucci so I have no knowledge about the brand, nor have I ever wore something from them out in public. If I want to wear something, Iâll wear something comfortable unless Iâm at an important event.
âI donât know either, to be honest. I think people just like to spend money like that because they have it. I find the clothes ugly but I do really like the wallet I got given with the outfit. I genuinely think people buy it because itâs meant to be ugly yet itâs so expensive.â
âAh well, I gotta find some sort of excuse to wear this for at LEAST seven months so my friendâs money gets put to good use. Same, I usually just wear all black with a black hat. This is completely out of my comfort zone.â

Your friends gave you an $8,000 outfit for no reason? Damn⊠Thatâs kinda extra. But hey, really nice too. Does it kinda make you feel like you just walked straight out of a Bruno Mars music video when you wear it? You could always put it on for red carpets or something. Own that shit, boo.Â
âWorse, it was one friend who gave it to me. She spent fully $8,000 by herself but hey, guess she got a good YouTube video out of it. Oh for sure, I feel like I should be at the Met Gala representing Gucci with Jared Leto. Thatâs true I suppose, Iâve never been good at putting together outfits or even dressing myself. I need you to teach me how to look cool.â

Hey, you kind of look like a Toby, but I guess I kind of look like a Jane. Is that an insult? Are you insulted? Iâm sorry he called you Toby. Iâll gladly go by Jane if it means that I made her day a little easier.
âAh well, I guess Toby doesnât sound so bad when it comes from you. Least your acting skills probably came in handy in that situation. I couldnât stop stuttering and I felt really bad, guess I should leave improv to the professionals.â
âWell âJaneâ, Iâm âTobyâ - or otherwise known by my birth name David.â

I think so too, yeah! A couple of years ago I was minding my own business, making these little indie films, and now Iâm living this life of intensity and I honestly could not be happier. Itâs a lot, yeah, lots of early wake-up calls and interviews, but itâs all worth it. Thank you so much, though! Your sisters know whatâs up, then! What are their names? Iâd love to meet them! Ah, no way! What went wrong that youâll never do it again? So I can take notes.
âOh god, I think theyâd both collapse if they met you. Thatâs too much of a good opportunity for me not to record. Ester and Sara or I sometimes refer to them as demon 1 and demon 2. Theyâre not too bad I guess, though one of them has started their own business in school selling signed pictures of my face for a dollar. I guess they get that from me.â
âIn all honesty, itâs just about you constantly taking care of yourself throughout the whole process. I did a tour with all my best friends which were a lot of fun but it had its downsides when all my friends did each night was drink alcohol like its water. Thanks to that, I had a lot of late nights and stress keeping them all in line. The best advice I can give is to just sleep whenever you can and always be stuck to a water bottle.â

âI can only imagine. How does it feel to have an endless supply of clothing and be known for it? Iâm sure it takes some of the pressure off of figuring out what to wear. Youâre basically turning into Jeffree Star, itâs totally fine. No, itâs totally not different. Was it through a brand deal? I just assumed you were proving how rich you were to the rest of the world. Jesus. With that mentality, youâre not gonna have the chance to have children because youâll be too busy being in love with the Tesla.â
âPretty fucking sweet to be fair, I get to create stuff I like and hire my friends to help me do it. Plus, I donât have to spend money on clothes that much - I get to spend it on stupid stuff! Oh yeah, that was my first ever SeatGeek deal. Crazy looking at it now. Damn, am I really that much of a flexer? ... Eh, youâre probably right.â
âTrue. But when the day comes that I get threatened to be deported back to Slovakia, Iâm settling down and having children immediately. Not only for their sakes but for mine!â

8K?! If I were a friend that chipped into that and you werenât wearing it every day, everywhere, Iâd be pissed. You better wear that shit loud and proud, brother man. Own it.
âThe worst part about it is that this whole outfit was given to me by ONE friend! She spent all that money on me just for a youtube video. I guess I need to learn the art behind accepting I look like a total tool for the rest of my life. On the other hand, the wallet she gave me was sick!â

âMan, if it isnât the classic black hat and your own merch, it shouldnât be on your body. It was nice of them, though, even if all Gucci makes you look kind of like a tool. Iâm begging you to go somewhere and just totally flex on people by wearing the outfit in public. Arenât you kinda constantly flexing by driving the Tesla everywhere?â
âItâs real weird looking down at my body to see a massive Gucci across my chest rather than Clickbait. Jason already made me wear it to In n Out, so many stares. I guess any fans who I met out didnât even think about it, itâs expected of me by now.â
âHeeeey, thatâs different though! The Tesla is my baby! My first big brand deal got me that car - thatâs my only flex. I swear when I die, I think I might have it buried with me. Fuck my children.â
âI know. I know I should be happy that my friends like me enough to spend $8,000 on a Gucci outfit tailored just for me. Itâs probably one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. But my god, I feel like a grade a douchebag. I donât think I could handle wearing this out in public.â
I would have to say Iâm pretty good when it comes to snowboarding but apparently today wasnât my day. Iâll not be sporting a little cast for a fractured wrist. It should be healed in 3 to 5 weeks. Happy Saturday!
âWow yikes, hope your recovery is speedy and comfortable! However, if I ever pick up on snowboarding in the future then I might have to rule you out as a teacher Iâm afraid.â
You guys, I simply cannot believe how time flies! Captain Marvel is about a month away, and I remember the first day of filming and production as if it was yesterday. This has been such a blessing, and press tours are coming, and everythingâs happening so fast, itâs hard to keep up! Anyway, whatâs something that youâre all looking forward to this year? Anything counts! Tell me everything, I wanna know.
âCongratulations on such a huge achievement! I feel like making it into a Marvel movie is on the top of the career chain, let alone being the main lead. Both my sisters have been SO excited about your movie, itâs nice watching them have a strong female to look up to when the superhero universe is dominated with male leads. Take care of yourself on tour though! I did it once and vowed never again.â
Today I went to the grocery store and some random old woman handed me a box of Cheerios while I was browsing the cereal beside her. She was like: âHere you go, Jane. This is the one your grandpapa likes.â I didnât know what to say to her, so I panicked and went along with it. Does it make me a bad person for feeding into her delusion? I guess Iâm Jane now. So long Lizzie, you had a good run.
âAt least you look like you can pass off as a Jane. I remember going to Trader Joeâs once and an older man thought I was his son named Toby. I was more upset about the name choice than the fact he confused me. Props to you though, some people can be real jerks and laugh at people in those state of minds without thinking twice. Definitely not a bad person but the name Jane might have to stick.â
