I completely get that feeling and I think that’s so amazing. It’s a really different feeling when everyone’s like super empowered by you and motived to change the things they’re unhappy about their life because of a character you portrayed when they feel really connected. That still blows my mind, but I think that's how you know when you’ve done it all right. I know I’m going to regret taking this for granted once press for Endgame starts, but at the same time it’ll be good to see everyone again. Since I’ll be exhausted after everything, can I join you? I make really good guac.

oh my goodness. sometimes you just feel bad for some people and don’t want to make them feel bad for not knowing who you are. who knows, maybe, you yourself have a twin somewhere out there. everyone always says there is another girl in my hometown who looks just like me. i think everyone does have a ‘twin’ more or less. maybe not exactly by birth but they just look so much like you that people think you two are twins. so don’t feel bad. you just might have a twin somewhere that you didn’t know anything about.

Doppelgängers are definitely a thing, which makes feel a little better than assuming this lady was just legitimately confused. So you’ve never ran into her? How awkward would that be? Just walking down the street and it’s like... Seeing yourself? Oh god, I’d be so awkward...

i don’t think it makes you a bad person at all. if anything, i would have done the exact same thing, maybe out of pure awkwardness alongside a little bit of kindness. it’s most likely better to run with it instead of making them feel embarrassed about the whole situation. it’s like when someone comes up to you mistaking you for someone else, it’s just awkward and you kinda just smile and laugh a little to try and run away from the situation. anything is better than feeling super uncomfortable. hi jane, i’m adelaide. 

I definitely did it out of social awkwardness, but I guess it worked out, right? I helped her out in some way, even if it was a little hard for me to run with it. I guess that’s my job as an actress! Pretty much though. I’d do anything to avoid an uncomfortable interaction. Nice to meet you!

Sometimes when it comes to people with dementia or alzheimer’s it’s just best to go with the flow and roll with it. At least I remember that’s what my grandpa’s doctor told us, because if you try and correct them it’ll just make them upset. So I’d have done the same thing, honestly. You probably made her grocery trip a little more smoother because you just went with it.

This makes me feel a lot better. I fought with myself a little bit, but I figured it was better to comfort her than leave her there to roam around on her own. I never knew that, but I’m glad I do now so that I won’t ever make the mistake of accidentally making it worse for someone.

Today I went to the grocery store and some random old woman handed me a box of Cheerios while I was browsing the cereal beside her. She was like: "Here you go, Jane. This is the one your grandpapa likes." I didn’t know what to say to her, so I panicked and went along with it. Does it make me a bad person for feeding into her delusion? I guess I’m Jane now. So long Lizzie, you had a good run.

You don’t know panic until you see a headline about yourself that looks totally legit saying you’ve accidentally uploaded Endgame in it’s entirety to Twitter. I love my fans, I really do. They’re so dedicated and creative but some of them are too good at photoshopping headlines like that. I’m proud to say I didn’t upload Endgame to anything, but I still feel like that scare took at least a dozen years off my life. Cheer me up: when was the last time you did something stupid I can laugh at? 

I’m honestly surprised you didn’t fuck this up, Holland. Just kidding. Though, would I really be surprised? If it makes you feel any better, I dropped entire bowl of brownie mix on the kitchen floor today because I thought a piece of lint was a bug.

How am I just now finding out about how amazing bath bombs are?! The only one not obsessed over them in my house is William. Which doesn’t surprise me honestly, but my littles love the ones that have a prize inside! I need to know which ones to buy for myself, the choices are endless.

William will definitely come around. Everybody loves a good bath bomb. There’s always the at-home recipes for them too, so if you want something fun to do with the kids, maybe take a shot at that? I’m super bad at crafts, so I have no idea what it’s actually like to make one, but it’s probably easier than making a decision on what scents to buy.

You guys, I simply cannot believe how time flies! Captain Marvel is about a month away, and I remember the first day of filming and production as if it was yesterday. This has been such a blessing, and press tours are coming, and everything’s happening so fast, it’s hard to keep up! Anyway, what’s something that you’re all looking forward to this year? Anything counts! Tell me everything, I wanna know.

Only a month? I’m so excited for you! I can’t wait to see how the film impacts everyone. I don’t know if I’ve told you this — but I’m really glad there’s someone who’s fighting the good fight portraying such a strong character. Young girls and boys will really have someone to look up to and admire. This year has been the year of relaxation so far, so I’m hoping it stays that way for now. Make sure you get a few naps in-between all those interviews!
