2015 proved to be my busiest year yet, I decided to take a hiatus from the blog life and just simply crack on.

The back end of last year I was fortunate enough to cover the WCO’s ( world calisthenics organisation ) first UK certification held at the one and only Commando Temple Gym in South East London.

No better way to start 2016 than in print. With Many thanks to The Temple’s Head Calisthenics coach @fitszdubova and the the guys from the WCO @tatted_strength & @aslan_barmob we created a series of images for Mens Fitness Magazine to accompany the article which came out this month.

Here’s a few snaps of the article, more than happy with the final piece!

One of my good friends pointed out to me recently that I was always going to be busy... at first I cringed and sighed a little but then took this as a sign to focus on becoming more productive. I'm sure any "creative type" or freelancer can relate to the need for a continuous cycle of goals, tasks and and self motivation!

Here's to my first post after a shocking 6 month gap and towards efforts in not getting bogged down with rubbish and just cracking on!

I also got to work with motion for the first time on this shoot and film some behind the scenes footage, I'm always hungry to learn but this defiantly made me hungrier than usual and eager to get more experimental. Always love behind the scenes work! I was fortunate enough to be let loose with a camera on Yuval Hen's recent beauty shoot.

Got to play with some beautifully soft lenses, tricky to get the focus down hand held but some lush results when you get it right, here's a few of my favourites from the day.

It's been a busy January and strong start to February with an outstanding lack of blogging but I'm happy to say I've been shooting plenty of new work as well as working on a host of new skills and lots of different subject matter, just the way I like it! Here's a peak at what I've been up to.

If you know me then you know I'm mad about Kettle bells so I had a quality afternoon spent shooting strength and rehab specialist Mr Rob Blair for Kettle Fever's 2nd Issue of their Strength Matters Newsletter.

A few portraits I managed to squeeze in between changes, one of my favourite things about photography that I seem to forget regularly is that it constantly surprises me. I'm either learning something new about what I love to do or learn a little more about myself every time I shoot.

And never underestimate available light!

I was lucky enough to shoot stills for the Fake Blood - All In The Blink music video late last year, actually love shooting behind the scenes, find them some of the most interesting shots but then again I am a huge fan of incidentals  : )
