Mason wasn’t really positive as to what had been happening, but he was relieved that after a week he was finally back home and it seemed pretty permanent and pretty good. But there was still things that changed and Mason still had questions as to what what happened when he wasn’t in his body– or when he was in high school. That was still such a strange concept to the twin. But at least Ryder didn’t think he was crazy. And the other people who had visited the high school life with him (still bizarre to Mason) didn’t think he was crazy since they had all been through it as well, so for now Mason was just focusing on the fact that he had his life back.
“I think I was in my high school body for way too long,” Mason chirped as he picked up the unicorn white hot chocolate (thank god that it wasn’t actual chocolate) that he had ordered himself at Creme and Sugar in Anaheim. It was a trip, but inviting someone along for the trip seemed way worth it. Taking a sip of the sugary goodness,, he laughed a bit and licked his lips. “I used to think sugar was literally the worst thing ever and now that’s all I’ve been craving lately. But maybe I’m also just excited for a potential baby and it’s making me want childish stuff,” he continued to muse, while finding a chair to sit down in. It was still weird to think about that and he was still going to hold Ryder with that– he had agreed. A kid. Oh man, Mason was so pumped about it. It sort of dismissed the fact that they never had a wedding and it distracted him enough from all the other crazy stuff he still had to figure out.
“I’m still worried this whole situation will jinx itself though. Is that silly?” the photographer asked, moving to grab his camera from the bag that he always carried around with him. This delicious treat was far too good looking to pass up taking a photo of anyhow!
When Mason had invited him to take the trip to Creme and Sugar, Dave had been somewhat reluctant. Of course, it was mainly due to the fact that he was really reluctant to leave Kurt’s side since Kurt came back, but it would be nice to just go out with an older friend. He sipped on his Coconut Women, savoring the drink. Okay, so it had been worth it to go all the way over to some place he had never heard of to get this drink. More than worth it. Dave glanced up at Mason, raising an eyebrow. “Technically, sugar is the worst thing ever, but it tastes so good,” he joked. Dave blinked a couple of times, tilting his head. “Wait, you and Ryder are talking about having kids? Really? Are you guys planning on adopting or getting a surrogate or?” he questioned, now very curious. When he had become a parent, he wasn’t sure what he was doing. Of course, it had been weird at first when he found out that Kurt actually had a kid, but then he fell for Carter’s charms. Now he was waiting for his daughter to come into the world - - any day now.
Dave was pulled out of his little family fantasy as Mason spoke again. “Wait, what do you mean? Jinx itself?” He asked suddenly. He glanced at Mason, blinking. “Do you think this isn’t going to last or whatever?” he questioned, dreading the idea of loosing his husband again. Dave sat back, looking at his drink. “So um, how were things back then? I mean, in the high school time? I think that’s what it could be called anyways? I’ve only really heard Kurt’s side of things, which was fairly interesting. Kurt was getting more action than I was,” he sighed, before laughing. “I mean, was it weird seeing everything and everyone younger and different?”
