I haven’t gone to an IHOP since it had its identity crisis, but I need to know if that’s where I should be celebrating today or if I should find someplace with pancake in its name for real.

Dawson: Not in Vegas, mate. Everyone is covering a hangover of some sort with hats and glasses. I'll just wear all black and then people will assume I'm emo. I don't think my first thought when I see someone in hoodies in too hot weather is guns and bombs, but maybe I'm just not that paranoid. Handheld, for sure. I love the mobility.
Davis: Guess that's fair, dude! Do you have to wear eyeliner too to really sell it? Do they still call it guyliner? I always thought that was weird, like, you buy the same stuff! Sweet! I've still got like my old DS in my pocket half the time, I'm like always accidentally handing it to people when they ask to borrow my phone.

Kara was getting back to her trailer after a long day of filming. She had done alot of mentally exhausting scenes and was ready to sit back and relax. She closed the door behind her and as she was about to lay on the couch She was startled noticing the figure in her trailer. “Shit dude, you scared the fuck out of me. Whats up?” She said half laughing.
“Sorry!” Davis apologized quickly, trying to hold back a laugh at her reaction and failing. “I wanted to show you a really cool shot of your scene earlier, I thought you’d wanna see how badass you looked, but uh -- the door was open, sorry.”

Davis hadn’t been in a situation like this before, but at least Olive seemed okay with it. And it wasn’t like she’d lose her job, people got pregnancy storylines written for them all the time on shows like theirs. “Is there anything I can do for you?” he asked tentatively.

olive and spencer had made a deal. annul their little vegas oops, when and only when, the loose ends of that night were tied up all neat and tidy, and the sheer liquid needed for four pregnancy tests made it all and all impossible to baracade the gender neutral bathroom door, and she was distracted by the four tests ranging from the cheepo dollarstore one to the most expensive one money could buy, digital, with its app and own timer on her phone. they were all perched on the sink rim. when the door opened, olive rushed to cover them with a paper towel, knocking them all off of of the counter ledge. very much in view. she let her hands fall to her sides. “hello there doesn’t seem damn appropriate now, does it?”
“Oh, uh...” Shit. Davis hadn’t meant to walk in on anybody in a private moment, especially not Olive. She was all over the news all the time, but she’d always seemed like kind of a private person to him, and now her business was... well, everywhere, right before his very eyes. “Want me to pretend that I think they’re props for a scene you’re filming?” he asked her apologetically.

Davis: You don't think that makes you more suspicious? When I see people with them on inside I'm like - well, okay, first I'm like HUNGOVER! and then I'm like FAMOUS. Hoodies make people think you're hiding bombs and guns and stuff if it's too hot outside, I don't want to scare people. For real? Do you use it more on the TV or like on the handheld?

Davis: Sweet! Although would you think I was totally lame if I said we should hit an arcade instead? Because uh... casinos are like arcades for grown ups, so you'd probably like it, right?

Rett stood in the wings of the stage, watching all of his idols – television directors, among them the ones from Breakthrough – answer questions in their panel. He silently promised himself that one day, he’d be up there, but for now, his job – and whole reason for being at DramaCon anyway – was to hold Bianca and Nate’s coffee. After a particularly close call with nothing to blame but his own clumsiness, Rett almost spilled the coffee on a passer-by but caught it just in time. “Phew!” he exclaimed, a wide smile on his face, impressed with his own reflexes. “I would not have wanted to be the guy that gives someone third-degree burns all while accidentally shortcircuiting the sound board,” he laughed.
“Okay, but like... how hilarious of a story would that be to tell later though?” Davis chuckled, glad that if Rett was going to have a close call it was with someone like him who really didn’t care all that much. “Also, I’m not going to lie to you, I don’t really know what all the different kind of burns even mean, but third doesn’t sound that great, right? That’s just like, a bronze-level burn, it’s not like gold-star burnage.”
