Blog Assignment.

Yes...... I am super excited with this, this is my handwork, I repeat I f*****g did this y’all lol. take a look at my blog guys. I'm proud of myself, I just to show off. It wasn't easy, had to go back to Ruairi’s class notes coupled with the labs and in all honesty it helped a lot. thanks to Ruairi for making me understand the course a bit lol. I still struggle guys but hey I am happy for the growth. you know what they say, celebrate the small wins.

Introduction to CSS.

Hello guys, I bring you good news. we are done with html and Ruairi says we would be learning CSS next. I know it looks like we just had a short time to learn html and just when I started to finally understand html fully, boom, we are moving to CSS lol. 

CSS is known as cascading style sheet.

Wikipedia explains  is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language such as html.

Ruairi made us understand that CSS is a simple mechanism for adding style like colors, fonts and space to web documents. he also explained that CSS can control size, color, text and position.

CSS can be added in 3 ways and they are: embedded, external and inline. Ruairi says the preferred way is external style sheet  and we will be using this for the his course. external style sheet separate's documents linked to the html page, its easy and quick to update, separation of contents and presentation.

To link a CSS file we use the <link> element

Html Links

Html links are hyperlinks. Html<a> tag defines hyperlink. when you click on a link it takes you to another document. the link destination is handled by the href attribute. 

<a href="http://griffith.ie">Griffith College</a>  This is an example of an html link.

What you should know about a link is that: A visited link is underlined and purple, an unvisited link is underlined and blue and lastly an active link is underlined and red.

when you want to link to another website, the href attribute has to be the full web address for the site and when linking to pages on the same site, you do not need a full URL.

This is me ranting.

Hiya, I am back y’all. I know I have been AWOL but trust me it’s not intentional and yo it’s not been easy. I’m here to rant today, please bear with me🙏

when I say it’s not easy, it means it’s not easy being an adult, schooling and working at the same time, it’s so tough. I miss living with my parents, I miss them paying the bills😁😜 and please do not judge me😀

seriously guys, do you get tired of paying bills? Do you think we grew up so fast? Do you think our parents prepared us for adulthood? I for one do not think my parents prepared me for this adulthood of a thing, my dad says this all the time. Hi guys, Today I’m going to pick up from where I left the last time. I did blog about unordered list last. Today I will be talking about ordered list, Alright come with me and lets have a swell time learning together,  lol I know right [ I’m learning also].

Ordered list: ordered list are numbered, they are used for items that must be placed in a specific order. order list use the element < Ol > and < li > for each item. Okay, lets see how this works.

      < li > Chelsea < /li >

       < li > Manchester united < /li >

        < li > Liverpool < /li >

        < li > Barcelona < /li >

< /ol >

And then, the final stage would be.

1. Chelsea

2. Manchester united

3. Liverpool

4. Barcelona

Hey, I’m back with more exciting stuff. Today I want to talk about Html: list.

List is known to be used to group related pieces of information together, they are used for navigation system and CSS. We have 3 types of list and they are: ordered list, unordered list and lastly description list. My lecturer Ruairi says, we will be looking at the first two [ordered and unordered list]. 

Unordered list: they are bulleted list and a set of items that can be placed in any order. for example;

. Phone

. Chair

. Table

. Television

In order for you to create an unordered list, you need to use the element <ul>. Each item on the list you use the element <li>. for example;

      < li > Phone < /li >

       < li > Chair < /li >

        < li > Table < /li >

        < li > Television < /li >

< /ul>
