I feel good about today so here have some TWK doodles
Just a thought...
Nessian play wrestling
āPower lay in her hand. Death gripped her by the other.ā
jurdan at practically any given moment:
I hate that when they promote ACOSF from people whoāve reviewed it they always talk about sex. Like not even intimacy. Not nessian. Not healing. Just passion and sex lol. Like is that all an adult book is to you? Please get better reviewers.
I understand that sex sells. But look, a lot of us have already bought two-three-four copies of this book. Youāve got nothing to lose by being more comprehensive with your reviews (and your spoilers).
Here is one of the review for ACSF that you can find on goodreads
(Ā @cupcakey00ā brought this to attention (thank you! I was starving personally!) and I never thought of checking (dumb me)⦠So obviously I just went to seeā¦out of curiosity)
The review in italian and its google translation to english below.
SPOILER FOR ACSF (I guess?)
I need this book in my hands SOON
How much time you guys think we should keep our blogs safe from spoilers? Or "everyone" is going to post spoilers from the start? You'll post spoilers but keep it only on "acosf spoilers" tag and not on nessian tags?
I just want to know because I will probably have to wait one or two weeks to get the book since I pre-ordered it online then I'll start reading it. It's the first time I'll follow things here when a new sjm book is released and I'd to know how you guys will deal with spoilers.
I think I do it the same way I always did with every sjm book release. I will tag for one month (basically until March 16th) every acosf post with #acosf-spoilers, #acosf-spoiler, #spoiler but I will probably also tag it with nessian or nesta or something else.
Reminder for everyone: You can and should blacklist tags and words! Which means that posts with these tags or words will be hidden from you.
(Note: my blog was and will never be spoiler free since I'm a slut for spoilers. It also stands in my blog description.)
Can you share how to blacklist a tag? Do you need to do it from desktop? Couldn't find anything on mobile but maybe I'm not looking in the right place...
You can also do it from mobile. Go to your blog and click on settings. Then click on Account Settings, and then scroll down a bit to Filter?? (I don't know how it's called in English, my settings are in German š ) anyway it's between Dashboard-Settings and Colour-palette.
I will do the same with probably the tags: #acsfspoilers, #acsf spoilers and #acsf-spoilers until probably march as well
So here is a small reminder on blacklisting!
I'm pretty hesitant to share this, with the approach of acosf I've done a few drawings/sketches of Nesta, not my best work, but I thought I'd share. Struggled with shading for this one and the bottom right looks more like a Feyre to me. I've got this specific image of Nesta that I've been trying to get down on paper so I guess I'm sharing with you guys where I'm at. ah sharing your art when you see the mistakes is hard š
Cassian when he didnāt die and realized he actually had a chance to spend more time with Nesta
TOO SOON. THIS IS TOO SOON.
š
Nesta when she realizes she has to live after trying to die with Cassian.
THIS IS TOO MUCH, BUT I love it BUT ITS TOO SOON
Nesta at solstice with the inner circle:
Everything Sarah said about ACOSF in her Instagram Live
- Sarah showed the book, its got a glossy finish and is super big *photos to come, I took screenshots, theyāll be at the end of this post*
- The book is 757 pages long
- The Barnes & Noble, Waterstone, and Indigo edition of ACOSF will have Rhys and Feyreās extra excerpt, and the Books-A-Million edition will have Azrielās extra excerpt.Ā
- Sarah says that she can confirm and deny that Eris is in the book. He is her favorite Autumn court character. She says sheĀ āloves bad characters who act bad but have a secret history and secret motivations.ā She likes writing about people who are mean to the IC and the other main characters, and doesnāt see them as saviors. Eris āchopsā them down.
- Expect a good amount of Azriel content. Itās hard to talk about him without spoiling. Heās in the book more than Eris. Him and Cassian have a close bond, and Azriel has a lot of his own shit going on that weāll get some hints off. Thereās a song by the Killerās that reminds them of him.
- The relationship between Nesta and Azriel is not a massive arc, but over the course of the book they recognize a lot of the same things within each other. Nesta seeās through Azrielās secrets. Azriel treats her like a normal person, which she doesnāt get a lot. They have mutual respect and understanding for each other, but itās not a deep friendship like Cassian and Feyre. They both tease Cassian.Ā
- Bread-crumb hints will be scattered in Azrielās extra excerpt.Ā
- ACOSF is steamier than Crescent City 2, āin terms of bodily fluids.ā (CC2 is still being edited though)
- We will find out what was in the box Cassian throws into the river.Ā It is something he spent a lot of time thinking about, and tracking down, and a gift he knows she would have loved. It was something very precious. Itās not a siphon.
- Sarah saidĀ āmaybe,ā to a question about whether or not we get to see Feyre pregnant in ACOSF.Ā
- The King of Hybern was inspired by Sarahās disgust and horror at the rise of Trump.Ā
- We will see some High Lords in ACOSF. Helion will make an appearance. Sarah loves him.Ā
- We will see what Lucien is up to. He makes a couple of appearances.Ā
- We will be proud of Nestaās growth. Her journey meant a lot to Sarah, more than any other character sheās written. She starts off the book in a dark, broken, jagged place. She is hurting and hurting other people. Sheās a hot mess, and beyond imploded by that point. Her journey from that place to the person that she becomes by the end is massive. Sarah didnāt sugarcoat things. Things are told the way they happened.
- Nesta earns her ending. She had to fight every step of the way. She getās her happily-ever after, even though she will occasionally suffer greatly.Ā
- So much of Nestaās journey is tangled up in the past. We will revisit those past events from Nestaās perspective. Weāre going to see her emotions and how she felt in those past moments. Past events will be explained. SJM will not make her aĀ ānice-sweetā person, she wants her to be hard-edged. She is not going to sweep her mistakes under the carpet. Nesta knows everything sheās done wrong, sheās not oblivious to it.Ā
- Sarah will confirm and deny that Rhys has a last name.Ā
- Thereās a birthday book that Sarah got that has a quote in it that is Nestaās motto, as well as Sarahās.Ā
Link to the birthday book:Ā https://birthdate.co/products/the-birthdate-book?variant=32794474807399¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=CjwKCAiAl4WABhAJEiwATUnEF6sedl8NL8USeR7JyHUXkVGFC6vqenbDDCaPNsZAM62242Bfj4C_9BoCyYAQAvD_BwEĀ
Pictures of the book (I sincerely apologize for how grainy they are):
ACSF LIVE: 15th of January
Here is all I got from it:
- Helion will make an appearance and he won't be naked (šš) but "wants to be"
- To the question "will we see pregnant Feyre in acsf?", Sarah answered "maybe"
- Eris is her favorite Autumn court Guy and she likes to write male characters like him. She also said it was fun writing a character that didn't necessarly liked the IC
- We will know what Lucien is up to in ACSF
- We will also know what was in the box and it doesn't seem to be a siphon. According to Sarah, Cassian spent month tracking it down and it's something Nesta would have loved.
- Azriel and Nesta have a mutual respect. They won't have a sister-brother relationship like Feyre and Cassian but Nesta understands parts of Azriel and they like to tease Cassian.
- According to Sarah, ACSF is smuttier than CC2 (because she didn't finish editing it yet but she hesitated a lot) and there's a lot of "fluids". She joked about BJs as well.
- Sarah spent some time discussing Tharion's...hmm...anatomy and wondering how everything works.
- To the question "can we read ACSF without reading the rest of the story?", Sarah answered that Nesta's story is entangled with the past. You can but it's interesting to know what Nesta's been through and seeing it both through feyre's perspective and Nesta's. It's important "to go back to the beginning".
- Sarah said she likes reading books with sad endings but not necessarly writing them.
- Sarah confirmed that Nesta would get her happy ending even though she would suffer first. She talked about how Nesta is in a very dark place at the beginning of the book and how proud she was of the woman she became. Writing her journey was very important for her and maybe the most important journey she ever wrote.
- She said that Nesta is aware of the bad things she did and that she didn't want her to be a nice character but to have hard edges, on the contrary.
- Sarah still refused to answer the question about Rhysand's last name. š

We won, guys. We got our brotp.
I donāt understand why people are going on about how that waltz scene is Karma and Deserved Suffering for Cassian for ignoring Nesta when Mor was around when...
There isnāt a single trace of jealousy or self-hatred or derision on Cassianās part in that scene? Have we lost reading comprehension? He is literally watching her dance with Eris with nothing but Awe and Admiration! Regardless of how the story will progress, ACOMAF ACOWAR and ACOFAS Cassian would have witnessed that from the shadows and not mentioned how Nesta glowed as she danced and conqueredāhe would have made at least one comment about how she wasnāt dancing with him because heās low-born.
Say what you will about holding people responsible and withholding absolution (which I agree with to a degree) but Iām afraid most of you have missed the mark when it comes to a scene that not only shows us Nesta beautiful and confident and glowing once more, but also hints at character growth on Cassianās part.
Homeboy is literally watching his (maybe) girl dazzle the room and pirouette during a complicated waltz and look damn right breathtaking while she does itāand heās proud of her, proud of her confidence, proud of the fact that people have stopped dancing to watch her dance. Proud of the fact that heās not the only one whoās noticed how daring and amazing she is.
So far, there isnāt a single negative emotion in this scene so why are we trying so hard to make it so?
Some of you really just want discourse for discourse and drama and it really shows.
Agreed, I've seen the posts on how Cassian is Jealous but there is not one line in that scene that hints to that? His attention is on Nesta here and it's only positive. I wasn't excepting such a beautiful description of a dance from Cassianās pov, Cassianās pov of Nesta so far hasn't really been positive so if anything this snippet shows that there has definitely been some growth since then. And honestly I'm all for the angst so If there is some kinda of involvement with Eris so be it, but from that snippet alone there's nothing pointing to jealously, nor does it really tell us anything about Nesta and Eris so why are we panicking?
Can we agree (especially after the new sneak peak) that Elain is the sun, Feyre is the stars, and Nesta is the moon likeĀ doesnāt it fit perfectly??
ASH THESE TAGS.
Fucking poetry my friend.
JUST...*pauses to squeal*... Cassian!!! š
The way it describes dancing and the waltz from his POV. Just with SO much perfection and skill and knowledge. How much he seems to appreciate everything that accompanies it. The music, the challenge and skill it takes to waltz and yet it seems he's never seen anyone actually nail the end 12 spins with grace but Nesta does! (Of course she does!!)
And he is utterly fixated and in awe of Nesta for her skill and feirceness and her beauty in every matter. And how he thinks of her...*clutches hand over heart*...This book is gonna kill me and I don't mind one bit.
