Except it’s not a rumor. It’s a fact of life, the same way that the sun comes up and sets every day, Rumi hates Jinsu. She hates her smug little smirk when she gets an answer right. Rumi hates the stupid ribbon Jinsu braids in her hair to keep her long black hair in place. She hates the way her posture is relaxed but she still manages to look poised. She hates the way she glides through the hallways, hates the way her nose is strong but elegant, her lips full and defined, hates the way Jinsu knows exactly what to do to infuriate her and does it on purpose, like the time that she managed to get the last red bean filling ppang, and when she did, she looked a Rumi and raised it a little, and Rumi had burned with rage, sure that Jinsu had heard her talking to Zoey and Mira about how much she was looking forward to it.
In the great scheme of things, Rumi barely thinks about Jinu. The first few weeks after the whole ordeal that had been the International Idol Awards she had spent between long conversations with Mira and Zoey, stilted, minimal conversations with Celine, her bed, and the couch.
