recently realised I'm super out of practise at working from references and using colour so I'm hijacking the hyperfixation for the greater good!!

I know 500 isn't much by social media standards (even on tumblr) but over 2000 people have liked my art at some point and 500 of you liked it enough to share it - that's way more people than i know irl, ant it's so cool to think there's that many people out there who have seen my art!

finished the alt version of my iron lung piece :) considering it's less detailed than the original i think it's come out fairly punchy with the limited palette the bones were a lot of fun to draw :) fish shown are moray eel, coelacanth, lion fish, lung fish, and viperfish

I mean. I couldn't not draw something, even if there's too many visually stunning moments to choose from

while there's definitely things about this that could be improved on, it's genuinely been years since I've drawn from references of a real person (and at the time I genuinely couldn't find many references from the film) and on top of that I decided to do a really challenging angle, and then use colour and a medium I haven't used in years, so honestly I'm really pleased with how this came out :)

while finally listening to the final season of malevolent we got inspired to do a bit of art :) not 100% sure how long this took but i worked on it most nights over the last week and a half it's not a direct "X piece in my style" but i borrowed the idea of the lighter flame covering arthur's eyes from the lovely @potato-lord-but-not :)

at the risk of being somewhat cringé on main, we recently found @akubaras-gf-au-collection 's OC Phill and honestly his backstory and the way canon characters have been depicted is just so interesting rotating the whole au in our head like leftovers in the microwave

What the girlfriends?
