I got some likes recently on my first Uldren drawing (left) and it got me thinking about how much my art has changed since 2018. So I decided to do a side by side comparison of my first Uldren drawing vs my most recent Crow drawing (2026).

watching twin peaks is hard because sometimes you think 'these characters could use some therapy'. and then you remember that some of them did seek out professional help but their only option was this
He's offering, any takers?
No the vanguard doesn't know, don't tell Zavala
People know that the whole "don't portray [harmful action] because viewers might recreate it" thing is a rule for children's shows right? It's supposed to be shit like "don't show peppa pig playing with fire so we don't get sued if a kid watches it and burns their house down." Not like, fanfiction for adults.
prev i hope u dont mind me sharing ur tags bc yeah this is an interesting add on

long time, no crow! 💠
The world keeps getting worse and worse and I'm so lost on what I could possibly do to help or how to even keep going about my day-to-day life when everything is so, so bad and only getting worse with every passing day. I feel so helpless.
Like fuck man I can't even *protest* without risking getting arrested and deported like wtf can I do? What can any of us do?

“Yeah but like you probably at least use chatgpt for—” let me stop you right there. I don’t even know what chatgpt is, software wise. Is it a desktop program, a website, an app? No fucking idea.
Don’t have any desire to find out, either.
I am whatever the opposite of a speed runner is. I am a game meanderer. I have to look at literally everything. I am overly cautious in every way. I forget to pause and wander away from the game. I take a minimum 7 hours to get through any given level. If you give me a timer I will cry.

If Larian is using generative AI to develop concept art which is then given to artists to turn into game assets and environments, then they can’t say there is no AI generated content.
For placeholder text - Lorem Ipsum exists for a reason.
This is super disappointing.
Source.
The majority of Larian’s all-star VA cast for Baldur’s Gate have been massively outspoken against AI - and not just for performances.
Concept artists are unbelievably valuable, and AI generated concept art absolutely pushes them out of work.
How many of your favourite games have had a ‘making of’ documentary with amazing concept art shown as backdrops.
At the 2024 game awards, Swen Vincke said the winners of future Game of the Year awards would be studios who didn’t treat their staff like numbers on a spreadsheet — That’s how concept artists and junior writers are treated when it comes to Gen AI.
Last bit I'll add - He openly admits it isn't leading to big efficiency games. What did Larian think they were missing when developing BG3 that they needed to resort to using Gen AI?
And "Everyone at the company is more or less OK with the way we're using it" is such a shitty line. There have been so many job losses in the industry recently that the majority of people absolutely will keep their heads down if they thought speaking out would put them at risk losing their income.
It's frustrating when such a positive creative force in the industry pushes this angle.
