yeah yeah Asagiri said Chuuya probably thought Dazai was dead after he left the PM and before they learned he was working at the ADA, but I'm more interested in Asagiri confirming that Dazai didn't know Chuuya was faking being a vampire in Meursault, it wasn't planned, he just never believed Chuuya could have been defeated and turned into one. EXACTLY!! Like, can we focus on how absolutely crazy that stunt was?? We always talk about plans, counter plans and what not, but that wasn't a plan AT ALL. If you think about it, dazai couldn't know nikolai was gonna show up, couldn't know about his game, couldn't know about sigma still being alive since ango probably told him he fell from the sky casino, and only had some intuitions on fyodor's plans but never certainties. Dazai didn't know shit, he was just making strategies on the spot with the little elements he could get.

And then he pulls THIS face when he understands fyodor involved chuuya of all people

Look at him, he hated it. But he gave one glance at the scene and just said "yeah no, that ain't it, chuuya is too strong for this shit. He's definitely faking it" and just went with it???? Like bro???
