Ah jeez, okay. I just got off twitter seeing discourse over how ace people shouldn’t be included in pride and now I’m on here and seeing posts on people saying how ‘aces don’t wanna see PDA in pride’?

I’m pan-demisexual and I’m super out about not only my sexuality, but my identity as a non-binary individual. I would never tell people to not express who they are and I don’t know any other ace-spectrum person who would do that either. So hearing both these things on two different websites is pretty upsetting.

I think it should go without saying that yes, aces should be included in pride AND people should be able to express who they are at pride whether through PDA or not. But I guess the LGBT+ community is always gonna have infighting no matter what. I already had to deal with the discourse last year over “non-binary people make REAL trans people look bad” so this isn’t too surprising honestly.

HEY I return after mysteriously being gone for like a month! I’ve had a lot going on between graduation, an upcoming surgery, and my gram’s poor health, so I needed off for a while. I’m gonna try and be around despite this stuff still going on but know I’m not dead yet PFFT!
