For character opinion bingo: Gavin Reed ??? Idk I just haven’t seen you talk abt him a lot (or I haven’t been paying attention)

listen i HATE GAVIN REED with a BURNING PASSION. both canon and fanon version. he was barely given any characterization other than "generic guy who hates androids with a white male superiority complex" and was seen in a handful of scenes (none of which redeem him) and the fandom woobified him and the developers make it worse by feeding into it. HOW IS REED900 EVEN REAL, A SHIP THAT IS ENTIRELY FANON. WHY DO WE NEED TO KNOW HIS BDAY. the lengths that fans will go to protect/defend their "version" of him when there are so many other characters that canonically represent WOMEN, better ideologies, marginalized communities, disabilities, etc. simply baffles me. I'M TIRED OF IT.
