your friendly neighbourhood film student here! this is very much a thing. financial gain is a primary goal for studios. you can love a film or hate it but a ticket sale still gives them money and essentially says “make more of this product!” it’s why the bayformers franchise is still a thing and why other franchises keep getting uneeded reboots and sequels. if it makes money, studios will make more of that product.

for the love of god if you want to watch this ironically, wait for a shitty camrip or torrent. don’t give sony money for this. if the emoji movie is financially succesful, we’ll receive more products like it.

Huh. This Sapphire was a lot different than the ones from Blue Diamond’s court. She wasn’t stoic or cold in the slightest. She seemed friendly and bubbly in nature.  “Well I’d be more than happy to show you around! My name’s chip. Are you a different kind of Sapphire? I’ve never seen one that looks like you before.”

“Why, yes! I’m one of Pink Diamond’s sapphires, Padparadscha. It’s wonderful to meet you, Chip!”

Padparadscha was silent as she was given a salute from the quartz. Of course, it took her a while to actually respond. She managed to sneak in here since she wanted to see Pink Diamond’s spared facility once again.

“...Oh, I’d love to! It’d be wonderful to see my Diamond’s zoo again.”

Padparadscha loved to go to the fields at Beach City and pick flowers, usually making flower crowns there for Steven and her friends. As she picked flowers, she met another gem! Of course, it took her a while to actually greet her.
