On the one hand, yeah, this backstory does explain why Huntress doesn't tend to get attached to people. Especially with the whole beat where her dad actually got out to safety with her, only to run back inside to try and save the mom and having them both end up dead.

And yet, it is also Notable that even after all of these years, she still kept the more humanoid-like features she originally developed because of them.
