Why me? | Oc One-Shot

Warnings: Angst, Stabbing, Mentions of Kidnapping, Implied Death/Murder

"You're lying..." Cataclys gripped her helm tightly with her servo, clawed fingers digging into the metal and scratching her crimson paint. Her other servo rested against the table, the surface bending underneath her deadly grip. Her spark was aching - this can't be real. Her breath became rapid - her white optics sharpening into a heated glare as she zoned in on her twin. "IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ME?!" Cataclys screamed in anger, throwing the table into the wall.

Lunarwing flinched against her restraints as the table hit the wall, squeezing her optics shut. "Solwing, please - calm down and let me explain ..." She knew she had to choose her words carefully, or the next object would be tossed at her. Cataclys' head snapped in her direction, her stare sending a shiver throughout Lunarwing's body - her expression felt like something straight out of a human horror film. "It's true, the kidnapper's were looking for me - I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you from that, but I'm here now! There is still time for you to change your ways -"

Taking slow steps towards her twin, Cataclys reached out with a clawed servo - grabbing Lunarwing roughly by the chin. "Solwing is dead." She hissed, before roughly shoving her away - the force of the push causing the chair to fall backward, Lunarwing's helm hitting the ground with a sickening thud. "Ughnn..." Groaning in pain, her optics flickering as the world around her began to spin. Cataclys slowly raised her foot, her golden heel sharpening into a knife. "Sister please -" Lunarwing's pleas were cut short as Cataclys stomped down on her chest - driving the blade deep into the blue metal.

"You made sure of that, didn't you?"

I was listening to this and all I could think about was Orion Pax singing about wanting to change the fate of Iacon, let me explain!

" Stuck in my bedroom Living in this world you left behind Dreaming of all these monsters That I'll never get to fight " - Orion singing about the Prime's and wanting to fight the Quintessons

" But boy, I wish I could So I could bring this world some light " - Orion wanting to help find the matrix so the energon could flow again

" If I fight those monsters, is it you I'll find? " - The Prime's or the Matrix?

" I know life and fate are scary But I want to be legendary " - Orion wanting to be more than just a mining bot

" I would fight them If I was half as strong as you Somebody help me Come and give me the strength " - Orion talking to the Prime's

"Dee...?" The sound of Optimus' voice cracked over Megatron's commlinks, his eyes widening slightly in surprise - before sharpening into a glare once more. "I don't know if you can even hear me..." Why was he doing this? Optimus asked himself, hiding his face in his servos. Was he really feeling that lonely, that he needed to reach out to his former lover? At least no one could bother him, he needed just 5 minutes away from his duties as a Prime.

"I know you hate me..." Optimus' whispered, his voice barely audible. "And I'm still upset with you, b-but... I just really need someone to talk to." He couldn't stop the coolant leaking from his optics, optics that had dimmed and lost practically all their color as he tried to choke back his sobbing. He should be stronger than this, he was a prime for Primus sake! Maybe that's why he found it hard to talk about his problems, his pain. He needed to appear strong, wise, and brave for everyone else's sake - but it only hurt him in the end.

"...What is it, Prime?" Megatron whispered back to him, quickly disappearing from the sights of the High Guard. He didn't want them overhearing this, for his own image... at least, that's what he told himself. He leaned against the nearest surface, allowing Optimus to continue speaking. "I'm sorry for missing you so fragging much..." He couldn't hold back his sobs any longer, and for a moment - Megatron's optics softened, his spark begging to ache.

"I feel guilty that I do, but I j-just need to know -" Before Optimus could finish speaking, Megatron cut him off with some words of his own. "I miss you too..." For the first time in cycles, Megatron felt like his old self again - but he couldn't let this continue. If he let Optimus continue to speak, he would want to run back to him. He would hold him in his arms, kiss away his coolant tears, and assure him that everything would be alright...just like he used to. "Goodbye, Pax... Do not contact me again."

Their commlink was disconnected, and Optimus felt as though Megatron had reached through the very fabric of time and space to rip the spark out of his chassis. "No...no no Dee, please! I just want you to come back, please!" He screamed, hoping, wishing, praying to Primus that someway - somehow... D-16 could hear Orion Pax's desperate pleas.
