Meet my beagle Sandy. She has a finely tuned sense of smell and often puts it to questionable use finding dead things.

Mystery tiny dead thing – any ideas what this was? Dime for scale. Sandy sniffed it out and just assumed it was some sort of jerky treat. NOPE.

Sandy didn't find the source, but based on this big clump of fur and quills, things aren't looking so good for this NAPO.

All I want for Christmas is a...deer carcass! Make that two. Beagle Sandy's holiday wishes came true when she sniffed out this grizzly scene in the forest today. Undoubtedly the leftovers of hunters. How uncivilized!

Sandy found some pretty cool teeth in the woods the other day. Look how tiny that one tooth is!! Smaller than the drumstick on that bicentennial quarter!
