Exploring the Natural Landscapes of Indonesia with @dj_jocky
For more photos and videos from Jo, follow @dj_jocky on Instagram.
"People I meet on Instagram tell me I’m a born traveller," says Jakarta Instagrammer Muhammad Jocky, who goes by the name Jo (@dj_jocky). Inspired by the Instagrammers he was following, he was drawn to the landscape and travel photography he saw in the app, especially from outdoor photographer Tom Vaillant (@tomvaillant). Jo started traveling to places with nature-rich landscapes in his home country of Indonesia to capture and share these views with the rest of the world. “My favorite places to shoot are mountains, forests and fog in West Java, including Bandung, Bali and Malang,” he explains. Jo also likes to bring his Instagram friends along on his explorations and often holds InstaMeets at these places. “I’m very proud of the things I’ve gained through Instagram and InstaMeets because I have many new friends and greater knowledge about mobile photography,” he says.
Jo is particularly fascinated with capturing fog, which emerges quite often in the mountains and forests of this region. He started the #foggyfrenzy hashtag series as a way to collate all his photos of fog as well as those of other Instagrammers.
20 Years of Arsenal
There was no better way to finish the season. The trophy drought came to a close, and London turned red for a weekend that millions of Gooners will remember. Arsené lifted the cup once again, and the professor will carry on at the club that he’s built in the 21st century.
However, there was one era that came to a close. For 20 years, Arsenal have been sponsored by Nike. But the FA Cup final was the last match of the Gunners representing the swoosh. To celebrate the partnership with a touch of nostalgia, Nike are releasing a limited edition kit that takes aspects of some of the most iconic designs from the past two decades.

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPinteractivegrams
Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes & hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a photo announcing the weekend’s project every Friday.
This weekend, we were inspired by Minneapolis designer and illustrator David Schwen (@dschwen)’s #interactivegrams series for a special Valentine’s Day project. By staging his photos and videos with a heart shape in the center, David creates an interactive experience for his followers: when they double tap his photo or video to ‘like’ it, the heart that appears on Instagram matches up with the heart in his photo or video.
The goal this weekend is to take a creative interactive photo or video of your own.
Some tips to get you started:
Keep an eye out for heart shapes in the wild. Whether it’s a particularly well-shaped leaf, the design in your latte foam or part of a sign, you’ll see them everywhere once you start looking.
You can get crafty with this project as well. Experiment with objects you can mold, gather, carve or arrange into a heart. You can also make a video by showing the whole process.
To figure out the arrangement of your shape, place the heart in the center of the frame. Try to crop your photo so that there’s about a heart and a half of space between your heart and the edge of your frame.
PROJECT RULES: Please only add the #WHPinteractivegrams hashtag to photos or videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own photographs or videos to the project. Any image or video taken then tagged over the weekend is eligible to be featured right here Monday morning!
This Day or That Day?
I really have no intention to bring up the past, But memories are always meant to be remembered. Like what I do now, writing a story that had already passed a year. This date, a year ago, on a rainy day... I really have no idea why should I wait someone for hours in the middle of heavy rain when I could just go home faster and took a nap but I prefer to wait for you Heart attack... pit-a-pat pit-a-pat pit-a-pat I really couldn't forget that freezing wind we go through Ah, I should stop doing flashback. Last Valentine... 보고싶어, 나의 첫 배렌타인.
