‘M just gonna slide on in here with this: A family member of mine recently moved to Canada from the US. One day they had to go in for treatment, the doctor suggested that they should go to a specialist for a small procedure. Unfourtunatly, this procedure wasn’t covered by the government, so they’d have to pay out of pocket. This procedure would cost upwards of $1000 in the US, & they resigned themselves to paying it. Asking the doctor what the cost was, they replied: “Oh, just $75.” $75. Compared to $1000. Jesus Christ.
