my main acotar dr owns my heart and always will but i may start scripting another one (i say that as if i don’t have 4 other acotar drs already, i just love everything about the world okay??). but for this one i’m going to script my partner in, and if my future date i’m going on leads anywhere i’ll script that guy in too.

i usually have it so me and my partner group shift together but for this dr i might just script he’s in it, not group shifting. i may script that the high lords are different though, something about being in the acotar universe and rhysand + the inner circle being there but me not knowing them/not being in their group feels weird.

i truly don’t understand why anxiety works the way it does. i just got a text from the guy i’m talking to asking if we could call each other later today, never having called before, and my face got hot, i felt my heart drop into my stomach like a brick, and started sweating. the same reaction i get when i have to call my bank or something. genuinely wtf, like what biological benefit does getting anxious for a fucking phone call give me. WHY. because truly i am aware that this is completely irrational and i wish i could just turn it off, it’s completely involuntary. i wish i didn’t feel this way about phone calls.

this might sound weird and unhealthy to anyone who’s not in a system, and probably to some people who are in systems, but i feel like getting personal on here today. i don’t really like to talk about it online because people never understand but 🤷‍♀️

i have three headmates, and I’ve been in a relationship with one of them for almost eight years now. he’s my best friend, the person who gets me more than anyone else (not just because we’re in a system), he’s my favorite person, and it’s hard to remember a time when he wasn’t there.

and i’ve been online dating recently, which is interesting to say the least. when me and my headmate decided to get together we both knew that it was important to be with a physical person as well, for my mental health, because that’s a want i have as well. but i truly hate that i have this want. it sucks. because i really only want to be with him (and some dr s/o’s ofc).

anyways long story short i might just start prioritizing permashifting to my better cr dr, and my waiting room, and my hogwarts dr. because i don’t want to be in a place where society doesn’t understand my situation. and doesn’t accept my situation.

i’m starting to develop a very casual relationship with shifting, especially permashifting. i always used to be so stressed out about the idea of me permashifting but i really don’t owe anyone anything and if i want to shift away to a nearly identical reality where me and my person can be together, i shall.

i stopped trying to shift to my acotar dr for a while and now i have intense homesickness for it. all that time just made me realize how integral that place is for me. even though i miss prythian, my possible future friends, and my high lord, i miss my sisters (the archeron sisters) and myself so much. like just myself, i miss myself. i miss my illyrian wings and my winter court heritage and my fae abilities and the way my eyes have little stars in them.

it’s a shame more vampire media doesn’t pull from vampire bat behavior because they’re such sweeties. they can only survive their incredibly specialized diet because bats will share blood with colony members that didn’t find a meal! there’s evidence that suggests the donors sometimes initiate this behavior themselves by approaching hungry bats! the colonies are mostly harems of females with a few males but they’ve been observed letting unrelated males in when it gets cold so they can all stay warm! cute little social critters!

while online dating i’ve somehow managed to match with someone from a different state, turns out me and this guy get on really well, and now i’m patiently waiting for him to visit my state again so we can hang out. so now i basically have a penpal who i want to date really bad but i can’t unless he moves here, and he can’t move here yet because of his job 😭😔 why do i only fall for people who live in a different reality or really far away
