They both are CEOs of two powerful companies and always in competition.
Ciel is working in a big hotel; Sebastian is a businessman, who stays fairly often there. Since the first time he called the roomservice and Ciel brought him his order, Sebastian always calls the room service when he stays at said hotel and asks for Ciel.
Sebastian is a writer, his stories are very dark and most of the time they end up as thrillers or dramas; when Ciel suddenly steps into his life Sebastian’s writing changes dramatically, to a happier style. He ends up writing a whole book about Ciel.
Ciel is playing the violin in an orchestra; Sebastian is a rebel, his legal guardian thinks that he needs to learn more self-control, also Sebastian plays in a rock band; Ciel (who is living in the same foster home as Sebastian) ends up dealing with Sebastian and his behaviour, he has to show the older male a way to calm himself, per request from Sebastian’s guardian. (with the help of music since both enjoy making music the most).
Ciel and Sebastian are neighbours; Ciel owns a dog and Sebastian a cat; the two are always fighting because “Ciels dog scared Sebastians cat” or “Sebastians cat annoyed Ciels dog”.
Sebastian is a tattooist; Ciel wants a tattoo, as a memento (for his murdered parents).
Sebastian works as a bartender, doing a good job looking interested in his customers problems (even tho he isn’t); Ciel is dragged into clubs by his friends every now and then, but Ciel doesn’t enjoy dancing or clubs at all. One night he ends up sitting at the bar all by himself, where he meets Sebastian. For the first time Ciel enjoys (not that he would ever admit it) going to a club and Sebastian listening to a customer.
Working at a hospital, Ciel deals with comatose patients very often, one day he walks in yet another patients room to check the vitals, just to almost get a heart attack; there beside the patient’s bed stands a man, not just some guy but the patient himself looking down at his own body. After an accident both, Sebastian and Ciel are stuck together on a desert-island; they have to build a sleeping place, find food and much more in order to survive.
One day Ciel is taken as a hostage by some mafia members. They take Ciel to their headquaters; the head of the criminals is not pleased after all he said ‘no hostages’, the boss known as Sebastian is done with the incompetence of his men, so he takes it upon himself to watch over Ciel; what both don’t know and what seems impossible at the beginning is that they are slowly falling for each other (Stockholmsyndrom!?).
Sebastian fails to take Ciel’s soul (somehow), Ciel is reborn because his soul belongs to a demon hence it doesn’t belong in heaven or hell ..they meet again in modern times (reincarnation!au ?)
