ok in all honesty that’s how i’ve handled it since the first reboot film came out and i really enjoyed it. i’ve never really watched tos or tng (insert the rest of the star tr*k series/films here), but i like the reboots and i can see the star tr*k appeal.

the star w*rs vs. star tr*k debate is just so ridiculous and age-old that i can’t help but at least joke about it as i dip my toes a little further into tr*k
