I totally see where Anon is coming from about the bunker, but I actually liked it. I think, they’d been travelling with no true base, and no Bobby’s anymore, for 7+ years. For me, it was okay to have a change. I liked this change better than the season 7 approach of taking everything away from them. What bugged me the most about the bunker was as how unutilized the different areas were. Sam and Dean are the most incurious people ever. They didn’t even know they had a garage for like a year. It was sort of wasted on them.

I also hate that some fans wanted them to invite everyone and their dog to come live with them once they had the bunker. That would have been the absolute worst. It was bad enough we had Apocilypse work hunters cluttering up the place. Best thing AU Michael ever did was kill most of them.

What bothered me more was how often the guys just fell back to pretending to be FBI. It was so lazy. I wish they had more variety in who they pretended to be.

I do agree it took some of the interest out of the show to have them just use the bunker for research (and just be FBI most of the time).

I loved the design of the bunker and all the different rooms were really cool, but yeah, it would have been fun to see other rooms utilized more than just once (like the man cave, the armory, or the shooting range.

I just really missed the trips to the different libraries, reading newspapers, you know, the analog stuff, lol!

(Full on agree about the AU hunters, though. I kept waiting for Sam and Dean to kick them out of their home!)

I can understand sticking with one alias (in their world), but see how that could get boring as a viewer. Another thing that changed was them having unlimited funds (I believe through Charlie). They still hustled, but it was mostly for fun and not because they were broke.

Basically, it's all the little things I suppose that contributed to the changing vibe of SPN, so much so that by the end, we ended up with ghosts in the daylight, Dean tapdancing, and the guys acting like idiots because apparently their skills were God-given rather than honed throughout their lives. (Sorry... S15 rant came out!)

And yet, I still watched because the early seasons established such a strong relationship between Sam and Dean that you couldn't help but see it through to the end.

The bunker was a love/hate kind of thing for me. It made research a little TOO easy. "Oh look, the MOL already had this case and here's how they solved it". Well that was handy (yawn). I missed the days of the guys having nothing but Dad's journal and the local library. Also, if the bunker was so heavily warded, how did every, demon/angel/pick a monster manage to just wander in and say "howdy"?

They misinterpret this as bad as they misinterpret everything else related to SPN. Apart from the fact he’s just trying to joke along, he’s very much pro ship. He did not say he preferred Destiel, just that his writing for that is better (which makes sense as there’s absolutely no wriggle room for wincest, which is right there on the page).

Sometimes I just feel like shit for all the hate that the Wincest shippers get... They hate us because we think in differents ways, because we ship two guys that are canonically soulmates,... What the heck, it's Saturday night and I'm feeling petty. (Sorry to my anons who aren't used to this side of me, lol!) Here's something I'm sure Destiny will find drama-worthy...

Supernatural was about Sam and Dean. Jared and Jensen are the leads of Supernatural. If Rob and Rich hadn't been cast on SPN, the show would have just hired two different actors, and it wouldn't have made a difference because again, to the first point, SPN was about Sam and Dean. Even if the writers wanted to bring back the characters later on, they could have just recast them. I mean, switching vessels for angels is an integral part of SPN canon (too bad it didn't work for a certain other angel). Anyway, SPN started with Sam and Dean and it ended with them, and everyone else was cannon-fodder. As long as J2 were there, the show would keep going. Rob and Rich have funded their during and post-SPN careers taking money from the "SPN family." If you think any of their projects were done out of the goodness of their hearts and genuine interest in the show, have I got some ocean-front property in Nebraska to sell you. (Just look at how fast they monetized the Then & Now podcast.)

Exactly... These people are so weird seriously, and you could literally see that they are supporting Rob and Rich just out of spite. In realizing they don't give two shits about them, one comment against deatiel from either of them and the so-called supporters will claw them apart. They are the extras who could have easily been replaced. The entire God angle was something the writers in the later season wrote in because they were running out of ideas. Rich and Rob only got famous and were able to keep their character because of cons.

Also, I don't blame Rob and Rich from scamming this idiots. they deserved to be taken advantage of. In fact, these people are so easy to scam. All you have to do is say that destiel exists, and they will give you their money. The Spn side characters got lucky that they got such gullible fans. For the run of the show, only 2 characters were in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. Everyone else was collateral damage. The parts could have been played by ANY actor. Did you know they originally wanted Bruce Campbell to play John Winchester when Sam and Dean finally find him during Season 1? Proof that had he been available, even John Winchester could have been recast.

It was at a con last year. I was the last in line for my J2 Photo op and was telling Jensen my Grandfather was from Richardson Tx and may have known his family. He seemed to be paying attention when suddenly he just turned and walked away from me mid sentence.

I was shocked. I turned around to find Jared happily chatting with my husband, bonding over his Negan t-shirt. He gave me a hug told me my hub was a snappy dresser. Hahaha

Jensen, i love you, but the fact that you lack the professional integrity, expertise and response-ability to admit that the product you created as subpar and are now trying to dupe people into saving an unworthy project makes me truly worried.

It seems I was wrong about you and you truly are vapid, clueless and egocentric. We all know the ONLY reason you created TW was to have it center on making Dean return out of egocentrism. We know this because even the leads that were cast were not leading man and lady type because you clearly wanted nothing and no one overshadowing Dean. You provided your actors with exactly zero onset coaches and that says everything. The entire script (deeply shitty script) was a means to an end. To make matters worse, you direspected the SPN legacy on every level including by playing Dean the wrong way (do you even remember what Dean is about? Have you even ever done script analysis? Do you know what character analysis is and why actors use it? Did you even stop to get at least one private coaching session before playing him again?) which showed us that, in the end, it wasn't even about Dean, he, like TW, was a means to an end. You wanted to get back in the spotlight but had zero respect for your audience and for serving people.

The audience loves quality, dynamic scripts and experiencing catharsis so they rejected your egotrip and your "show"(emphasis on the "your") got cancelled.

Yet, you still fail to acknowledge or take responsibility for any of it and are trying to push and extremely shitty show to other networks and that show me you lack professional integrity and are only in it exclusively for the money. Truly heartbreaking.

I am certain you don't even care about the actors on TW, a producer that cares and hires inexperienced actors will also simultaneously hire an acting coach, dialogue coach and so on. The ONLY reason you are now pushing to have it renewed is to be able to say "I tried. It didn't work out, guys." and then wash your hands as if its lack of success doesn't even matter, you played no part in it and anyone that dislikes the show is clearly a "bully". Sorry Jensen but you seem more and more like a narcissist to me, I always loved to keep up hope that you were different than Danneel, in some aspects, at least. I was wrong.

I wish you great success in your career but in a way that is ethical, in a way that involves integrity, growth, taking responsibility and putting in high quality work so that you may inspire many.

Perfectly said. After having met Jensen in person I can say unequivocally he has changed, and not for the good. And worse, his fans are starting to see the change. Where Jared remains down to earth and connected to the fans, Jensen literally dismisses them with a wave of the hand. He walked away from me mid-sentence like I wasn't there in the first place. It's sad.
