lets split up, yeah because that ALWAYS works out. a firefly is missing â didnât come back from a hunt, and now everyone is on the search for the lost member. sheâs probably breathing far heavier than she realises as she trapses through the forest, but sheâs trying to convince herself in her head that everything was alright. the flashlight in front of her only gave her a very dim view of her surroundings, and although the infected were all pretty blind, she didnât like the idea of alerting them, or others she was around. she was stuck in such deep thought that the voice almost makes her jump out of her skin. her feet stop immediately, and the hand not occupied by the torch tries to find her own gun. should she turn the flashlight off? probably not, they might start shooting the dark. her voice is quiet, but she manages to pull off some air of importance, â firefly patroller. whoâs out there? â
declan put his hands up here she coud see them, leaving the gun in his lap. he knew better than to leave any chance for them to get nervous -- that was something he experienced first hand in the army. he knew how scary it could be to be on the other side of the gun, too.
ânameâs declandaley. iâm just a loner--no threat,â he said, his tone reassuring. âdo I need to move?â he asked the girl, trying to seem compliant.Â
