Brought my laptop and books on holiday with me because I have to get this dissertation done (so I never have to look at it again) and I’m sat at this gigantic desk like I’m the villain in a 90s kids film about to shut down the community centre unless they can put on the greatest talent show of all time. May even shut down the animal shelter while I’m at it

It's all so terribly unchic.

Archive that my whole dissertation depends on is acting up. Genuinely could not happen at a worse moment. Been sat here for about ten minutes waiting for a specific article to load like it’s 1997 and I’m operating on dialup and then it loads… and it’s an article from 1932 when I was looking for 1862. I am going to run off into the woods and live in a cave away from the internet and dissertations forever x
