- ए भाई यह क्या कर रहे हो? - मैं सामान की लिस्ट बना रहा हूँ। - तो उसमें मुझे क्यों गिन रहे हो? मैं सामान नहीं मनुष्य हूँ। - लो, यह किसने कह दिया आपसे? आप वस्तु ही हैं। - ...कैसे? - तो बताओ, वस्तु क्या होती है? वही न, जो दूसरों के नियंत्रण में हो जिसकी अपनी मरजी अपने पर न चलती हो जैसे पंखा, कोई बटन चालू करे तो ही चल सकता है जैसे टी.वी. ऑन करो तो ऑन वरना ऑफ...। ...वैसे ही तुम हो। कोई खुश करे तो खुश और कोई कमेंट कर दे तो दुःखी कोई प्रेम करे तो सातवें स्वर्ग में पहुंच जाते हो और कोई दिल तोड़ दे तो मनहूसियत की खाई में समा जाते हो बोलो, मनुष्य हुए या वस्तु? - बात तो ठीक कहते हो। तब फिर मनुष्य क्या होता है? - मनुष्य वह होता है जो किसी भी बाहरी बात या कारण से अपनी मरजी के बगैर प्रभावित नहीं होता है। - हां, अब समझा न। अब कोई अपसेट कर के बताए?
