The thing about psychosis is that once the other person knows you're psychotic, or it otherwise becomes obvious, literally everything you ever do is The Psychosis. And there are infinite things that are just part of normal human experience or expression that are made alien and disturbing when they're attributed to psychosis.
Having a messy room is normal, except when it's scary due to The Psychosis
An accidentally unfunny joke is a threat when they're psychotic because The Psychosis
Seeing a psychotic person staring into space should terrify you because they're probably doing a The Psychosis and are about to pull their The Psychosis butcher knife out
A Gen Z person speaking a little funny is on-trend meme language. A psychotic Gen Z person speaking a little funny is The Psychosis
When you're psychotic all goals, aspirations and interests are delusions of grandeur, even if it's just like, wanting to learn a second language or go to school for photography
Nonpsychotic people can do all the normal but idiosyncratic things they want (like be picky eaters, or say the same joke a lot, or have an odd mannerism, or wear unusual clothing) and be made fun of but ultimately written off as quirky. Psychotic people are threatening to lock you in their torture basement, yes you specifically, if they name their cat Jeff
I had a (ultimately extremely unhelpful) therapist as a teen who wore toe shoes to the office every day and people thought he was hilarious for it. Schizospec psych patients can't even be nonbinary because that's too damn much
Generally even really really supportive anti-ableist nonpsychotic people will treat absolutely anyone they know just a little bit more like a bomb about to go off the moment they find out they have a psychotic disorder, and they won't say it out loud, but they'll definitely do it even more if their friend calls them out on it (because pointing out intangible behavior is DEFINITELY The Psychosis)
You probably also experienced something similar to this if you grew up autistic, with every slight action both intentional and not being ascribed to The Autism and thus rendering the action itself unintelligent, disgusting or childish, but only if you were the one doing it. I know this because feeling like every action I could possibly do is inherently unintelligent, disgusting and childish was a feeling that pre-dated my gender dysphoria
I hate making posts like these anyway because I feel like I'm crazy and erratic if I acknowledge the existence of saneism with the wrong tone. But the reason I have this much to say about it is how long I've been stewing on a post that I haven't been able to find for a long time, that was essentially "people with schizophrenia are everywhere and could be anyone, including your loved ones" with comments that were interpreting it as a joke threat
