Hi Friends fandom,

I grew up watching Friends here and there when I was younger, but recently I started rewatching it properly, and it really reminded me why this show sticks with people. The characters, the timing, the comfort, and the small moments all hit differently now.

While getting back into it, I noticed something that surprised me. For such an iconic show, there isn’t nearly as much fanfiction or fan art as I expected. That honestly made me want to help change that in whatever small way I can.

I’m here because I love the characters and their dynamics, and I want to contribute creatively whether that’s fic, art, headcanons, meta, or just talking about episodes and character choices. I tend to gravitate toward character details, emotional beats, and both sincere moments and completely unserious sitcom chaos.

I enjoy both canon straight ships and LGBTQ+ ships. I’m a multishipper, very open-minded, and fully in the “let people enjoy things” mindset.

A little about me: My nickname is CK (please refer to me as that). I’m from Canada. I’m creative, observant, and tend to notice small character details. I’m laid-back, supportive, and genuinely enjoy hyping other people’s work. I value honesty, kindness, and mutual respect, and I appreciate direct, open, and light communication especially when people are clear about expectations and okay with reminding me if something slips.

Outside of fandom, I enjoy swimming, boxing, soccer, playing video games, learning new things (including languages), and having both deep and casual conversations. I like fashion even if I’m not very good at it yet and I hope to learn coding eventually. At the moment, I’m recovering from surgery, but afterward I plan to return to work for a year or two, focus on my physical health, and then go back to school.

Important boundary: I am not looking for a romantic or sexual relationship at this time. Please do not DM me with romantic or sexual intentions, and do not ask for sex, nudes, or anything similar. This is not negotiable. I’m here for fandom, friendship, and community. If that changes in the future, I’ll state it clearly but for now, this boundary is firm.

More than anything, I’m here to make friends and have real conversations not just collect mutuals. I enjoy all kinds of friendships as long as expectations are communicated clearly, and I’m especially open to building deeper friendships over time.

Oh phoebe, you are me and I am you. Phoebe has no main storylines in friends and seems like a supporting character in her own show. Her accomplishments get don't get the same accolades as the other's. She doesn't fit into the pretty blonde vs strict brunette dichotomy. It's always Rachel, Monica and then Phoebe. Like an afterthought. She has a messed up family life that honestly never gets properly adressed. 'It's just a 90's sitcom of course it's not going to get serious' Well then why make jokes about her homelessness and dead mother. Why have her sister be a huge bully with no empathy whatsoever. People hate her for saying out of pocket things or seemingly brewing conflict on purpose. The actress recalled she felt so much bigger at than the other girls when she was only 5'7 (170cm) and she sure she is taller and probably weighs more due to that, but she is no way fat or ugly. As a matter of fact, most people agree she is thin and attractive.

Despite that I think she is a great character. She has great hair that she wears in cute hairstyles, a cool bohemian style with a bunch of colourful, creative accessories, interesting non-conventional jobs and unchanging values that help differnatiate her from the others. It's great to have such a unique female character with so many quirks. She incredibly original and funny and I'm sad she gets overlooked a lot.

You would think when these two happen to fall into a relationship that it would be a quick, heat of the moment thing, but their confession to one another was actually far from it... In actuality, it took them several years to admit their feelings for one another, even after everyone had moved on to do bigger things (i.e, after the show ended).

Joey and Phoebe, despite having been very fickle with relationships in the past, are very passionate lovers and fiercely loyal to one another.

Being friends before getting into a relationship definitely helped with that; they just get along so well already and have such a deep bond that labels transcend it.

Despite neither ever doing things in a conventional way and often disregarding tradition, they do have a pretty spectacular wedding and some kids; it's what really grounds them in their future.

However, it did take a while for them to marry or even decide if they wanted kids; they are both the type to just let things happen when they happen rather than plan their whole futures out. Joey wanted to advance his acting career, and Phoebe wanted the same with music, so they just ended up waiting a while.

Phoebe's favorite thing is to tease Joey at every opportunity, and I mean every opportunity. He's so easy to trick as well, constantly falling for her almost kisses and whatnot.

For what it's worth, Phoebe has always been the odd one out in almost every situation. Even in her own friend group, there are moments when she just isn't understood by everyone, but believe me when I say that Joey definitely does. They share the same brain cell, and as time passes, he understands her more and more, giving Phoebe a sense of comfort and belonging, something she hasn't had in a long time.

Joey really is the sweetest father and husband. Growing up around a lot of women helped prepare him for it. He is a girl dad, 100%!

Speaking of his sisters, at first, they weren't totally sold on Phoebe, but they were quick to learn to accept her. Phoebe manages to make quick friends of them all and honestly hangs out with them more than Joey does-

He is used to feeling like he has to be more than he is with most of the girls he used to date, but with Phoebe, it's so much different. He can just be himself around her, and she sticks with him through the best and worst parts of it.

Their home is incredibly mismatched in terms of style, but it also just manages to come together so nicely.

Yes, they have 3 cats, yes, they also want a dog, and yes, they will probably keep adopting more until they physically can't handle it.

They take turns cooking, usually alternating based on who's doing lunch or dinner. Joey is a much better cook than Phoebe is, but he will gladly eat the three meals she can cook any day of the week.

They do so much PDA, it's honestly kind of sickening-

Joey's favorite thing about Phoebe is her smile, and Phoebe's favorite thing about Joey is his eyes.

A/N: I miss FRIENDS, it's such a good show, and I just don't see people talk about it anymore. :'(

Also, when I first watched the series, I totally thought these two were gonna end up together, and I was shocked when Phoebe married Mike- I guess it would've too stereotypical or obvious, but they lowkey match each other's freak.

Is it just me or has anime officially become more popular than sitcoms?

Like it used to be that anime was a niche and stressed and sitcoms were the norm but nowadays I feel like anime is the norm and sitcoms are niche
