robin smirking at the sight of nancy while they were on the boat at lover's lake
robin suggesting madonna, blondie, bowie, and the beatles while nancy was in a trance probably because she was going over nancy's tapes in her room and remembered them
robin KNEELING for nancy without question to help her climb up the gate in the munson trailer
robin teasing nancy for having that tom cruise poster then dressing up as someone who happens to be too similar to david shawn from taps 1981 during the battle with vecna
robin dedicating pretty in pink to vickie (probably because of her candy striper outfit)
then nancy showing up entirely in pink the scenes that followed
then dressing her in the same candy striper outfit robin absolutely went feral for
MAYA AND NATALIA actively campaigning for their characters to have a romantic storyline since season 4 came out but nothing being explicitly denied by the writers
only a mention of "people are gonna know when they watch it" from natalia and charlie (referring to robin being involved in the love triangle)
scrapped "i got you" and "i hope you'll eventually share your secret to making everyone fall in love with you". SO IT WAS POSSIBLE.
nancy obviously so exhausted being at the center of steve and jonathan's never-ending competition and shifting her attention to robin instead
the projector flashing the colors of what seems to be the lesbian flag on nancy while they planned for the crawl
and most importantly that STUPID look nancy gave robin in 5x01 (visual aid provided above, thanks poppinslibrary). literally what was that. nancy is so terrible at hiding the fact that she is visibly smitten.
